My daughter has been going here since late 2021. She’s absolutely loved all of her teachers. There’s been times where change of operating hours etc have been annoying to adjust to but this was brand new when she started attending so I’m sure changes when things are new are to be expected. I had moved to the area and was scared to enroll her somewhere new so the bright wheel app for constant updates on her daily activities keeps my mind at ease.

Shining star of Nashville is definitely my go to recommendation! My son has been enrolled since he was 18 months old and being a first time mom shining star made me feel most comfortable that my little one was in good hands and cared for round the clock. The app updates posted throughout the day with photos and time stamps also helped set this mama’s nerves at ease. All of the staff have been friendly, loving, and very person centered to my boy as well as others- no two kids are the same. Shining star also does a fantastic job at keeping the little ones happy and healthy. I love how clean and thorough they are with sanitation daily and deep cleans monthly. I feel safe knowing my baby is safe, learning, and happy while I have to be away.

For any parents looking for child care in the Rocky Mount/Nashville area, I highly recommend Shining Star Childcare for your littles. My twins have being going here since they were 15 months and we love it here. I've researched and toured majority of the daycares in this area, and trust me Shining Star Childcare is the top of the list. From the cleanliness of the facility and the measures they take to sanitize and deep clean all areas of the center, to the friendliness of the staff and administrators. Your littles and you will both feel safe, loved, and always greeted with a warm welcome like family. They are truly supportive of you and your littles well-being. Their teachers send home newsletters every month so you know what is going on in the center and class, and what the learning focus is each week. A plus is they use the brightwheel app to communicate with you and to share day to day photos of your littles at play. If food and nutrition is a concern, they give you an option to provide your own meals for your kids, and they also take childcare vouchers! I have a peace of mind knowing that my kids are in great hands. I can go on and on but, trust this review!!!

This is an awesome daycare. My son has been at the daycare since he was one and a half. The staff is amazing. They show so much love to my son, they worked with him while he was going through separation anxiety and a broken home. I see daily how much he loves them, & they love him as well. I like the bright-wheel app that they use which shows me what he does throughout the day, any updates or concerns they may have. The pictures are the best part. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

Great daycare! My son has been going here for 7 months now & I have watched him progess tremendously with social skills & learning since being enrolled! They have friendly staff who treat your kids as their own, very professional, & great with communication. They keep you updated tthroughout the day with the user friendly app which gives peace of mind as a first time parent.

Super friendly staff. They keep you updated throughout the day with the app, Brightwheel, that is super user friendly. They send pictures throughout the day which is a great especially when they first start off going to daycare. They keep the area very clean, they take them outside whenever possible, and they send home all of the art projects.

I absolutely love this daycare. Everytime i drop my child off Mrs.Brandie is so welcoming and always happy. My child’s teachers are absolutely amazing, they love my child just like their own. I couldn’t ask for a better daycare. I 10/10 recommend!

Staff is always kind and eager to help. They welcome questions or concerns with urgency which always helps put any parent at ease. Shining Star also uses an app where you can see pictures and updates on your child through the day and it’s an easy way to communicate with your child’s teacher. My little girl goes in every morning with no fuss and I’ve noticed lots of other children do the same. This lets me know that Shining Star is doing things right and has created a space that allow children learn and feel safe!

Shining Star Childcare has given me such piece of mind leaving my daughter in the infant room ! They use an app that allows me to get pictures all day of her and I know with the security features in place that she is safe ! I can't say enough about the care that my daughter receives at their center !!

Shining Star Chidcare provides excellent care. Our experience in the infant room has been exceptional! The staff is attentive and loves our little one like their own ! The owner has been friendly and helpful:) The security and technology used to ensure our child is safe is top notch ! The interactive app allows us to see pictures of our child throughout the day and also her sleep, feeding and diaper changes! Can't recommend enough ! Personally, this daycare has been a perfect fit for our family !

Nothing but good things to say about this daycare! My son wakes up in the morning talking about his teacher & his friends at daycare everyday, that should say enough right there! Any problem I’ve had here the director and/or teacher helped me resolve it right away they are very understanding. You feel nothing but love walking through this center I love it. 10/10 definitely recommend❤️❤️❤️

Shining Star Childcare is one of the best in the area. The staff is loving, caring, and devoted to making sure that all the children’s needs are met. They take care of them just as if they were theirs. The Pre-k program definitely prepares them for kindergarten, while teaching them morals/values. My only regret is that my children didn’t attend the center sooner.

My girls have been going to this daycare for almost a year and absolutely LOVE it!! The staff is very friendly, very professional and great when it comes to caring for the kids. We love to receive updates throughout the day! Would highly recommend!
