Will not let me swap out birks for a size smaller, because more than 30 days from Christmas. It's Feb 9. New in box unworn. Was a Christmas gift from my wife and I don't live down here. First time back down. 160$ thrown away. I'll order off line next time. Was trying to support locals. Wouldn't cost them a penny to swap out. So be it.

This review is from last year but the experience was so bad a year later I still am upset about it. The place is very expensive. I got into a screaming match with some dump older employee because someone else rang up my sale. When we walked in there he approached and gave us his life story, I walked away from him because I did not care, I'm here to shop not be your therapist. Then I talked to someone else that was interested in working and selling me something instead of complaining to a customer! When the other employee rang me up the fat old guy started yelling at me so I yelled back. Apparently they work for commission, but still you don't talk to customers like that.

The lady that helped me out was awesome! I was having foot pain and she knew exactly what I needed. Got the Oofos sandal, after just a few days of wearing them my foot pain is gone. These sandals are worth every penny !!! Already recommended website to friends! Thank you so much, you saved my vacation!

They have a nice & unique collection of shoes for sale. The Powells Point Location has the best selection of flip flops & Xtra Tuffs. The Kitty Hawk location has the best deals. The Nags Head location has the best selection of sneakers and sandals. If you had to pick one of them to visit- it would be the Nags Head location considering they have the most selection and stock in my opinion. Finding your size in something you want should be easy. Or they'll order it. Prices are decent and if you have a rewards card you can earn money towards a new pair of shoes after purchasing 10 pairs. I just earned $43 towards a new pair of shoes which is great considering I have 2 school age growing boys. The amount you are rewarded is averaged by the amount you spent on the 10 pairs. All locations are clean and well organized. The employees are friendly and accommodating. And they have great shoes, bags, clothing, and accessories.

I bought a pair of shoes when on vacation, they didn't work for what I wanted. I don't live nearby, so it was 3 months later when I tried to return them, never worn, with the receipt. They wouldn't even give me store credit. I'm posting so you'll know not to expect anything past their 30 day return policy, which isn't thoughtful of the vacationers
