Arrived at the Funky Junk OBX at 10:44 am on Saturday the 14th of October to find the store CLOSED! Their sign on door and online al say that their hours for today at 10am - 4pm. There is no phone number anywhere online or on the door. Extremely disappointing as I am from out of state and looking to buy multiple pieces to take back with me. I probably would have spent as much in my one visit than they make in a month. Sad that small businesses don’t uphold their posted hours of operations. I would much rather give my money to a small business but that obviously won’t happen today. Will I attempt to come here again when I return as I am in OBX a few times a year—well that is to be determined at a later date. I always wonder if they can’t uphold their own hours of operation; then how do they treat their customer base when face to face??? Disappointing.

Great collection of quality antiques. Yet another antique shop in a high traffic tourist with full retail prices. Very interesting selection of fishing related items.

My wife and I tried to visit here twice, and both times, they were closed when their listed hours on the door said they should have been open.

This place is filled to the brim with unique vintage items...not your usual second-hand shop at all. But beware of second thoughts...if you decide later that you want that special item they do not ship! So buy when you see it because next year when you come back it sure won't be there!
