I have shopped at this convient store many times and it's always been a great experience. They have the best coffee around and all the cashiers are always super nice and friendly. I am very highly impressed with this convient store. Also based upon my other experience with convient stores in the Murphy area. This one here is the absolute best.

I have been going to this place occasionally since I moved here almost four years ago and since I began visiting here over seven years ago. I only go here when I have no other convenient option to purchase my Mountain Dew Kickstart beverage. I avoid it when I can because the young men who run the cash register dominate the premises with an attitude of superiority. They give off bad energy, have no idea what proper customer service entails, and have always made me feel like the scum of the Earth whenever I am in their presence. Today I forgot to stop by the Ingles gas station for my Kickstart, so I reluctantly pulled into this horrendous place. As soon as I entered the building I felt nervous. I could feel the rude young man's negative energy toward me the moment I entered his area of awareness. I did not have to turn around and make eye contact to know that he was watching me like a hawk does it's prey. Nevertheless, I steeled my resolve and walked to the cooler at the back of the store and grabbed my grape flavored Kickstart beverage. There was a white price label stuck on the opener tab of the can that read 2.39. I made the mistake of peeling it off of the opener tab and tossing it in the trash can that sat on the floor by the register. I set the can down on the counter. Without grabbing it or scanning it in any way, the nasty young man told me that it cost two dollars and ninety nine cents. I then told him that I thought it was two dollars and thirty nine cents. When he again replied to me, telling me that he can not remember the prices of everything in the store, he emphasized certain key words, and also, I could tell that there was anger that was barely concealed in his voice. I thought to myself, why do I deserve to go through all of this just to be able to pick up my beverage from this establishment. Is being a paying customer and a law abiding citizen not enough to shop at this particular establishment and not be bombarded with negative energy and forced to face hurdle after hurdle during what should be a brief exchange? I wondered, and not for the first time by a long shot, whether the fact that I am not a seemingly emotionally callous and rancher styled person like this young man and the other young men who run the register at this establishment had anything to do with the way they treat me. Or was he really just so stressed over the small things that he was that angry that I had removed the price sticker from the opener tab of said beverage? I then reached into the trash can, located the sticker, and showed it to the man. He seemed irritated, and he also did not seem to consider my previous action to have resolved the dilemma. He walked to the back to check the price of the Kickstart beverages. I was shocked, because his actions made me feel like he considered me to be the type of person who would somehow carry a price label from a different product in his store in my hand or pocket, and then display it after reaching into the trash can that I had just discarded the Kickstart price sticker into, swapping the stickers in order to save fifty cents on my beverage, an operation so strange and exhaustive and near pointless that I could not even imagine the lowliest of hobos or druggies to be capable of exerting the energy to complete. I paid for the beverage, and left the establishment. Shortly later, I called the young man. He answered. I told him who I was, and I explained that I thought he was rude to me. He again said that he did not have time to know the prices of everything in the gas station, and that he also did not have time to deal with me. He seemed irritated. Then he hung up on me out of nowhere. I called again, and he hung up on me again. Then I called and left a voice mail explaining what had happened and that it was not the first time that I had had a negative experience at said gas station. I ended my voice message by asking if said gas station was indeed a professional establishment, or if it was rather, a joke. You decide.

Man refused to let me write down the numbers of a winning scracth off ticket? Did not allow me cash it in because i wanted to enter the ticket for second chance at Lucke-Rewards. Would not rip the bottom off for me so i could atleast keep the numbers. He said i was wrong that you could now enter winning tickets for second chances...so strange...had to take my ticket down the street where they were glad to let me write down the numbers and redeem the ticket.
