There banking practices are not like other banks. If you are even a penny overdrawn, they charge $35 where other banks waive it if you are $5-10 overdrawn. If you know you're going to be overdrawn and put the money in the bank to cover it, your CASH doesn't process right away like other banks even if you get it in before 3:00 which is when typical banks will credit you that business day. And most banks process deposits first, then charges, no matter what order in the day they happen. Southern always will process you're highest amount first to use up all you're cash so each of the smaller amounts will be overdrafted. They also will charge you an overdraft fee if something is in pending, not even put through! A company charged me my monthly bill 6 times for some reason. I called them to find out why and they said, dont worry, all of them were not processed. Sure enough, I check my account next day, only one charge was posted by that company but of course Southern charged me overdraft fees for those other FIVE charges! A bank should NEVER charge a fee for something that is in pending mode, they should ONLY IF IT WAS ACTUALLY POSTED!! I would NEVER bank with them again!
