Traust Brewing Company
128 S Main St, Mt HollyWe sat at the bar and ordered their Lilli Pils Pilsner and we split the loaded tots. Courtney our bartender was friendly and helpful. Food service was fast. Beer was perfect as we just kayaked the nearby Dutchman’s Creek. We could not finish the tots and got a to go box. We were driving our van and appreciated the large free parking lot behind the brewery. If passing through this is a great brewery to visit.

Firehawk Brewpub
309 N Main St, Mt HollyWe're always looking for great BBQ, and this place is the best yet!
Everything from the smoked salt and pepper wings, "Cue bano" sandwich, macaroni and cheese, enormous ribs and even the coleslaw were top notch!
My daughter got the kids chicken tenders - and they were legit. These aren't the default chicken tenders on every kids meal, but actually brined and seasoned chicken, yum! She finished her plate.
OMG the pickles too! They come with each plate and they're a perfect palate cleanser after the rich and delicious meat!
I'm excited to go back and try more of their menu, along with whatever weekly live fire specials they dream up.

Sake Express II
349 W Charlotte Ave, Mt HollyExcellent food. Smallish dine in area available, but we did take out. Had hibachi steak and chicken and hibachi steak and shrimp. Both meals are enough for our lunch and dinner!! Veggie egg rolls were crispy and light. Even carrots were good and we're not usually fans of carrots. Our new favorite restaurant ? photo is of hibachi steak and chicken and mushrooms.

J.R. Cash's Grill & Bar
1000 Marina Village Dr, Mt HollyOMG THE CROISSANTS! So delicious that they are worth a trip out from the city. Only complaint- The shrimp n grits are way too fatty. They need to remove all the meat fat and just leave the shrimp. It would taste better, be healthier, and would also help them with the pescatarian crowd since there aren't too many non-meat options already. Then I could bring more of my girl-friends here. Everything else here is great. Wonderful service, relaxed cozy vibe, good food.
