Robby's Sales is a well-stocked surplus store in downtown Mount Airy. It is a staple establishment and a good store where you can get everything you need. The store offers a vast selection for camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, barbecuing, military surplus, personal and home defense, and other outdoor activities. It carries stuff you didn't think was made anymore at reasonable prices. Customers find it a great place to find what they need and have been going there for years. Thankfully, the salesfloor associates are helpful. However, there are significant concerns about the manager. Multiple reviews state the manager is a jerk and is misogynistic, speaking down to female associates and treating people poorly. Customers report the manager does not deserve the position and that the owner needs to address this behavior, as a manager should be a responsible and caring individual. Despite this issue with management, many customers enjoy exploring the intriguing store and often leave with less money than they had, finding just about anything they could possibly need.
