Small shop but I usually find something I really like. I'm from the coast of NC & always stop in when visiting family nearby. I shop consignment allover & Poppys is very reasonably priced.

I have shopped here multiple times because some of the sales are good. It seems like every time you go in here you get a different attitude. I haven’t been to the store in over two years just because of the atmosphere. There used to be this one girl in there I can’t remember her name but she was One of the best employees that the owner has hired, also to mention Tiffany is a great employee too. Their attitudes are always welcoming. Anybody else that she has ever hired or that has ever worked there has had an awful attitude like today I walked in the owner was busy so she didn’t greet me right away but one of her employees was standing right there when I looked up the girl was looking me up and down. I continue to look around and I have multiple items in my hand and I honestly kept thinking I should leave because every time I come in here it’s always that one bad employee With the stank attitude. But the items I got was a great price I couldn’t pass it up. The entire time I was in the store the employees was having conversations that was nowhere near work related and one employee Cursing. I’m pretty sure this is a kid friendly business with her selling kids clothes but after hearing what I heard today you might want to reconsider bringing your kid in there with them cussing and having very loud conversations that have nothing to do with work while customers are in the store. This would be a Way better store if the customer service was way better because once A paying customer walks in the store your conversations should be about work or you shouldn’t be talking about it at all and you shouldn’t be cussing in a place of business extremely unprofessional and it’s extremely rude.
