I have known the owner almost all my life, 40 plus years. He has always taken pride in his profession. They have the best meats you'll find anywhere, competitive prices. If they don't have the cut you want, they'll cut if for you right then (try gettingthat sefvice at foodlion, or Walmart). Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Try them out, you'll never buy meat anywhere else

Usually pretty good. Lately, the burger patties are not"fresh". Color looks like the pushing the limits of expiration date.They pop open on the inside like a hot pocket when you cook 'em. Hollow????? ?

They have a great selection of quality meat, but be careful about the hours. I called in an order and said I'd be there about lunch time to pick it up. Pulled in at 1:05 and watched the last of the employees leave the front door going to lunch. I waited until after 2 for them to get back from lunch. Since I am from 45 minutes away, it was frustrating since the hrs don't say anything about being closed for lunch and the person I placed my order with, didn't say anything about being closed for an hour. Call before you go for lunch hrs!
