Room was clean and had all the amenities I needed in the room. It was quiet at night. The mattress was a little firmer than I like. Parking was available close to the building. It was nice to grab a bagel from the breakfast bar to eat while driving down the road.Rooms: My room was clean and had more than enough towels. Lots of channels available on tv. The lamp based have usb charging ports.

The staff was friendly but the hotel room was not anything I would normally stay in. The bathroom had what looked like fungal growth on the walls, the furniture was so worn we wouldn't even sit on the couch. The lobby looked decent but the rooms were definitely in need of TLC and updates.

Was an overall great place. Rooms were very well maintained and clean. The cleaning ladies definitely do their jobs awesome. I have two absolutely very minor issues. Number one is we always leave for the job site at 6:30am, not one single morning was there breakfast out by the time we left. I'm a smoker so I was outside watching for the breakfast to be brought out. I know it's not a big deal but being on the road working all week gets very expensive and that one free meal a day is a humongous help. I mean we are paying for it technically anyway so just have it out on time. And my last issue was the older white lady that works the front desk, I'm not saying she was rude or mean but she would always be like a prison guard watching every single move I would make when I'd go out to smoke a cigarette. I only would say high and smile at her but she would give nothing but a mean look and not even acknowledge me saying hello. I don't know why she seemed to hate me, hell I was as nice as possible to her, oh well. The younger white girl working the desk was nice as could be, she should be in that spot more than the other for sure. Hell the older woman always had some man in there too, seems like she has him in there giving mean looks too. I came down for coffee at 430 or 5 one morning and he was sitting there kinda shaking his head because I was even down there at that time, that's what happens when you have a job sir.Rooms: Cleaning ladies are awesome at this location

Clean rooms, nice staff, decent breakfast (although quite limited on dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free options). The strong chlorine smell in the room was off-putting, and that was not the case when we stayed last year.Food & drinks: I've been happy to see other hotels have plain oatmeal (cooked, and having nuts, dried fruit, sugar, etc. as available toppings, but even individual packets work fine too), hard-boiled eggs (dairy-free prep), and plant-based milks at least available in the fridge upon request. (I did call ahead of our stay, so I wasn't surprised.)

We arrived before checkin and our room was ready. We had traveled most of the day and welcomed not having to wait. We reserved the king-size room. Clean and everything in working order. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate for hotel fare. Location convenient to downtown Mt. Airy and resturants. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Mt. Airy Comfort Inn last night with my family. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. When I entered my room the smell took my breath away. It smelled like an old dirty locker room. There was a red stain on the ceiling and the lampshade appeared to have blood or puke splattered on it. I reported these issues to the front desk clerk, who didn’t seem to care and only took a note of the issues after I asked her to. I was told that the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. We had to stay because we were traveling and all of the surrounding hotels were also booked full. I paid almost $200 for a gross room. I won’t be return to a Comfort Inn anytime soon.

My husband and I were in area on business and really needed a great night's sleep from an exuasting week. Requested a room on top floor to prevent hearing external noises. We both said how quiet the room was. Staff was very nice and friendly.
