This is the worst Pharmacy on Earth most of the workers are rude and unprofessional the whole Pharmacy looks like depression they are slow as molasses and can't even find medication when it is right in their face. The drive thru line is backed up most of the time and the wait is absolutely ridiculous I have seen people back out and leave. If you call a prescription in there is a good chance that it will not be ready I gave them several days but when I get there I was told to come back in 15 minutes even though I called it in about 3 days earlier. The hold time on the phone is insane just absolutely insaneI am a very patient person but I could not take another day going to this pharmacy I moved my medications to another Walgreens Pharmacy it has been 100% better at this other pharmacy I should have made this change a year ago I only stayed because I live close but now I have to drive further for better serviceAt this other pharmacy I ordered my insulin and I got it in 2 days I ordered the same insulin at the Davis Dr pharmacy and it took 5 days I just don't think the Davis Dr pharmacy was putting my order in when I ordered it why would it take 5 days and the other new pharmacy that I changed to only took 2 days for me to get my medicationThis pharmacy on Davis Dr need to be shut down for good I would never want to see the workers that work here at another Walgreens pharmacy. There is so many true bad reviews about this pharmacy on here and on Yelp I wish I could give zero stars but we are forced to give 1 star,as you all can see this pharmacy got a 1.3 rating that tells a lot

Wish I could give zero stars. I came here for a rapid covid test that was advertised as $20.00 online. When I get there they tell me it's $128.99 or I can go to an urgent care. I called customer service and was told the more expensive cost was for a lab test and the $20.00 was for a rapid. I never asked for a lab test! I scheduled a rapid!! I pulled back into the Walgreens and explained this to the pharmacist and she had to look it up as if she didn't know her own pricing. I was then told she couldn't do my rapid test because it can only be done by a "certified technician". This is a NASAL SAWB! THE SAME AS A HOME TEST!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO ONE IS CERTIFIED TO DO IT. She then told me she'd call another location to see if they could do it. She tells me to go to the Maynard location and they'd be expecting me. I drive all the way to the Maynard location just for them to tell me not only do they have no idea what I'm talking about but that they also can't transfer appointment locations. The Maynard tech then calls the Davis Drive location and the DAVIS TECH LIES AND SAYS SHE TOLD US TO GO TO THE STONE COVE LOCATION!!! I drive to Stone cove, this now being MY THIRD Walgreens for a simple nasal swab and once again they have no idea what I'm talking about as if no one has ever called them. The lab tech tells me appointments can't be transferred and that I have to schedule it all over again but she cannot guarantee they'll have appointments for that day. I was able to quickly hop on my phone and schedule at Stone cove but the only appointment wasn't until 4:15. It was currently 10:30. So now I am waiting on the waiting room of my third Walgreens for a simple nasal swab after being lied to by the Davis Drive and Maynard Walgreens locations. This will be the last time I ever use this pharmacy. I will be contacting customer service to report this incident and I will escalate it until I am satisfied with the outcome.

The pharmacy is a clown show. The employees look for any reason to stop doing their job, delay the process, and create a line for customers. Making an appointment means nothing to these imbicilic, leaderless, lazy, incompetent actor's.

Bottom line: Walgreens app/online scheduling was great, as was the nurse that administered my actual vaccinations. However the onsite processing itself and wait to get to the processing window when in line was not so pleasant as it appeared to be slow and not efficient, backing things up a bit. The Deets:This review is for the vaccination area of the pharmacy here at this location of Walgreens in Cary/Morrisville. There are some good things and not so good things about the whole process, hence my middle of the scale 3 star review. I have to keep certain vaccination statuses current for work, so I have come here a couple of times to help keep those current. First, the good...the process with going on the Walgreens phone app and/or online to look for appointments and schedule as needed is great. There has been excellent availability and ease of scheduling. You fill out forms pre-visit on there (let's stick a pin in that one for later...) and you get a confirmation when completed. Also among the good, actually the great, was the nurse that did my actual vaccination this visit...helpful, pleasant, efficient and professional. Well, let's get to the not so good part...when you arrive in the pharmacy for the appointment. I was there well before my appointment time (the app informs you to be there 15 minutes before your actual assigned time). There is lack of efficient structure, one window is for vaccine check in but after you wait in line you get called to another window so there are about three lines with no sense of where you go except that they may have one window marked for another use that will be the one you go to. It took a long amount of time waiting to be processed. I understand that there may be extra things that have to be done with certain people to get the visit to process but the line got backed up considerably while I was there. Then when I had a confirmation number and information entered when I made my appointment online, I was informed that everything had to be entered manually even though information was provided during the online scheduling process. Remember that form I mentioned earlier, well, I had to fill the form out again on paper even though it was completed online, and not just once but twice for each vaccination itself...just not an efficient system if you do it online just to do it again in person. After the onsite processing was finally completed, the wait to get my vaccinations this time was not super speedy but acceptable compared to the wait in line to get processed and the processing itself. Did I get my vaccinations as needed? Sure did, and again, huge kudos to the nurse administering them. Was it the best process I had experienced before getting to the actual vaccination part itself? I have to say it was not.

This Walgreens is at the corner of incompetent and a full fledged nightmare. I have filled my prescription with them for the last two years and recently it had gotten so bad that I transferred everything over to CVS. The pharmacy cannot keep workers. They will get someone competent and the next week they are gone. When the pharmacy messes up your prescription they immediately tell you to call your doctor, the you find out it was the tech that messed up your prescription. Want to call and check on a prescription that was sent in 5 days ago and still isn't filled? Be prepared to wait on the phone for 52mins just to be hung up on. Want to go through the drive thru? Allow 30 to 45min if there one or two cars in front of you. All I can say is RUNNNNNNNNN. Nightmare customer service.... Nightmare EVERYTHING.

If I could give it a zero I would. Called to get a rx transferred on 8/25. Gave the tech the info that she requested to put me in the system and was told that I would contacted. Here we are almost a week later and I call back to get an update and I’m not located in the system. Was placed on hold and then hung up on. The nerve to ask me to complete a survey about my service I received today. Avoid this pharmacy if possible!

The service and communication in horrid! I placed an order for pictures today morning, and the estimated pickup time was listed as 12:30pm. I arrived to pick up my photos at 6:00pm, and they hadn't even started my order! Unacceptable! I had placed an order early because I had needed it on time for my time-crunched event, but it still wasn't ready! I had to wait for more than half an hour! I didn't even receive a notification stating that it had been delayed! When I asked them why it was not ready, they stated that I was supposed to call before coming to pick up an order, but I was not instructed to do so anywhere! I had no way of knowing this information! Very disappointing :/

This pharmacy has gotten worse and worse in the last two years. They went from being one of the best around to being terrible. If you call, expect a 45 minute minimum hold time and most times, they simply hang up on you. The last time I called, they picked up, then she told me, "oh, I didn't mean to talk to you, but I guess I have to help you now." The pharmacists and technicians all seem to just not care. I'll be looking for a new pharmacy.

They parade around in white coats, but their actions suggest they couldn't distinguish a prescription from a grocery list. Their apathy is not just conspicuous; it's deafening. The atmosphere is one of rampant neglect, where commitment and professionalism have clearly been abandoned for ineptitude and negligence. If you're looking for a pharmacy that values your health and time, steer clear of this debacle. It's an absolute mockery of the profession.Totall nincampoop.

The pharmacy at this store is so incompetent. I had prescriptions to pick up yesterday and mind you I've been going to this store forever and all of a sudden there is a delay due to insurance.... there were 5 cars in front of me and no movement for 20 minutes. I went in and it was total chaos ( I'm a senior citizen with a leg injury that was extremely painful and I had to walk in) today another rx. Was called in, again insurance problems so I called , spent 45 minutes on hold and was disconnected. That was this morning. I am on the phone now for over 30 minutes to find out what is going on because the application says it's in process ALL DAY!!! After this rx is filled I'm transferring to CVS. Ridiculous !!!

Every other reviewer is right about the service at the pharmacy. DO NOT get your prescription filled here unless you enjoy delays in getting it filled, rude pharmacy techs who aren't able to process Walgreen's own express pass to pickup a prescription, or an overall awful experience. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Needed a prescription filled for a fairly common antibiotic, and it took them until nearly closing to get it filled. Wonder what they've been doing for 3-4 hours.

The service in the pharmacy at this Walgreens is horrible. Every month there is a new problem with filling my prescription. The woman who assists the pharmacist is rude and condescending. After waiting on the phone on hold for 40 minutes, and then sitting in my car for another 25 minutes, the woman at the window tells me I don't have the prescription that I already submitted to be filled. This is a regular monthly song and dance with her. I show her on my app that indeed the prescription exists, and that Walgreens has acknowledged it on the app, and she still argues that it's not there. She would be happy to send me packing, but I request help from the pharmacist, who shows the lady how to read the information on her computer screen. After a sideways look from the window lady, I have to come back later to pick up the medicine. This time I come into the store. Rude lady gives attitude that makes it clear that I'm about as welcome as a turd in a punch bowl when I do my time in line and finally make it to the register. I didn't cause any of the problems with filling the medication. I can't help that there are shortages that led my doctor to changing my prescription three times, and subsequently caused my insurance company to require prior authorization. I am depending of the doctor, the pharmacy, and the insurance company to work together. I am paying all of the above and getting nothing but treated like a big inconvenience.

They don't answer the phone and the website is not accurate about prescription status. I waited 20 minutes on hold to be hung up on twice yesterday.

Had a 4:15 appointment for a Covid test. Got there and drive through was closed. Called store to ask where I should go for test and was put on hold for 14 minutes and no one came back on. Finally masked up and went inside to ask. Had to go to drive through which they reopened for this purpose. Left at 5:15. I still to not have my results over 12 hours later. I guess I will mask up and go back in because they do not pick up their phone.
