Good luck trying to get someone on the phone! The worst customer service ever, everytime I try to call it’s 30+ minute wait and until I get tired and hung up! Doesn’t matter what time or day don’t even bother!

I went here to get prescription and they said my insurance won't cover it because I have supplemental insurance. I only have one insurance, so I called insurance and asked them what went wrong and they said they have no idea what Walgreens is talking about. They have medications out of stock a lot too so you can't get prescription until 2 days after doctors puts it in. I'm never going back to this place and just go somewhere else.

Every time I call the pharmacy I have to try multiple times and wait and wait until someone picks up the phone, anything from 5 to 15 minutes. A few times my prescription was supposed to be ready but it wasn't, or they struggled to find it.

Time to close this store and move it to another location! Been there to get a passport photo service on Sunday and was very disappointed with unprofessional and condescending behavior of staff. Agreed they may be short on staff, but there is no excuse to the horrible behavior and inability to properly communicate.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review on here, so this should allude to how horrible the service here must be for someone like me to post this.
They’ve consistently hung up on me. On more than one occasion, I’ve been lied to when prescriptions will be ready. I CONTINUE to have the same “delayed RX because of an insurance issue” even though I have told them MULTIPLE times that this specific RX does not go to my insurance and to not run it thru insurance in future. It’s literally a fight I have to have every single month with these idiots, I just don’t get it.
I was told in a condescending tone, to my face, that my card was declined and needed to use a different one, when I explained that the card they have on file is expired and they need to use my new one, even though it looks like the same one. Not to mention the cumulative hours I’ve spent on hold with this dumpster fire of a business, that just scratches the surface of the inadequacy of how this place is run.
I don’t think it’s asking for much for the people who work here to also speak English clearly. You’re dealing with peoples medicine (they’re lives and well being in many serious cases) and you should be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
I’m now waiting a full week for my RX medication to be refilled. Luckily this isn’t a medicine I need for survival, but that’s a horrible thing to say in the year 2023.
How this has gone on for so long I have no idea but this isn’t a new phenomenon with this location. Maybe if enough horrible reviews come in things will change, but once I get my medicines sorted I’m **done** with this place.
**Edit and update:
After getting in contact with the store to fix the insurance issue, the guy over the phone cut me off multiple times while I was trying to explain my frustration on this whole situation because he obviously didn’t want to hear it. Like me having to wait a week, call and be on hold isn’t an insult enough, I have to be cut off mid-sentence by someone who’s clearly trying to push me aside so I don’t have to be dealt with. Don’t tell me that it’ll be ready in 5 minutes and not worry about it when I’ve been lied to by you guys consecutively. Get your store and employees in order, don’t take it out on us.

This is the worst Pharmacy on Earth most of the workers are rude and unprofessional the whole Pharmacy looks like depression they are slow as molasses and can't even find medication when it is right in their face. The drive thru line is backed up most of the time and the wait is absolutely ridiculous I have seen people back out and leave. If you call a prescription in there is a good chance that it will not be ready I gave them several days but when I get there I was told to come back in 15 minutes even though I called it in about 3 days earlier. The hold time on the phone is insane just absolutely insaneI am a very patient person but I could not take another day going to this pharmacy I moved my medications to another Walgreens Pharmacy it has been 100% better at this other pharmacy I should have made this change a year ago I only stayed because I live close but now I have to drive further for better serviceAt this other pharmacy I ordered my insulin and I got it in 2 days I ordered the same insulin at the Davis Dr pharmacy and it took 5 days I just don't think the Davis Dr pharmacy was putting my order in when I ordered it why would it take 5 days and the other new pharmacy that I changed to only took 2 days for me to get my medicationThis pharmacy on Davis Dr need to be shut down for good I would never want to see the workers that work here at another Walgreens pharmacy. There is so many true bad reviews about this pharmacy on here and on Yelp I wish I could give zero stars but we are forced to give 1 star,as you all can see this pharmacy got a 1.3 rating that tells a lot

Wish I could give zero stars. I came here for a rapid covid test that was advertised as $20.00 online. When I get there they tell me it's $128.99 or I can go to an urgent care. I called customer service and was told the more expensive cost was for a lab test and the $20.00 was for a rapid. I never asked for a lab test! I scheduled a rapid!! I pulled back into the Walgreens and explained this to the pharmacist and she had to look it up as if she didn't know her own pricing. I was then told she couldn't do my rapid test because it can only be done by a "certified technician". This is a NASAL SAWB! THE SAME AS A HOME TEST!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO ONE IS CERTIFIED TO DO IT. She then told me she'd call another location to see if they could do it. She tells me to go to the Maynard location and they'd be expecting me. I drive all the way to the Maynard location just for them to tell me not only do they have no idea what I'm talking about but that they also can't transfer appointment locations. The Maynard tech then calls the Davis Drive location and the DAVIS TECH LIES AND SAYS SHE TOLD US TO GO TO THE STONE COVE LOCATION!!! I drive to Stone cove, this now being MY THIRD Walgreens for a simple nasal swab and once again they have no idea what I'm talking about as if no one has ever called them. The lab tech tells me appointments can't be transferred and that I have to schedule it all over again but she cannot guarantee they'll have appointments for that day. I was able to quickly hop on my phone and schedule at Stone cove but the only appointment wasn't until 4:15. It was currently 10:30. So now I am waiting on the waiting room of my third Walgreens for a simple nasal swab after being lied to by the Davis Drive and Maynard Walgreens locations. This will be the last time I ever use this pharmacy. I will be contacting customer service to report this incident and I will escalate it until I am satisfied with the outcome.

The pharmacy is a clown show. The employees look for any reason to stop doing their job, delay the process, and create a line for customers. Making an appointment means nothing to these imbicilic, leaderless, lazy, incompetent actor's.

Bottom line: Walgreens app/online scheduling was great, as was the nurse that administered my actual vaccinations. However the onsite processing itself and wait to get to the processing window when in line was not so pleasant as it appeared to be slow and not efficient, backing things up a bit. The Deets:This review is for the vaccination area of the pharmacy here at this location of Walgreens in Cary/Morrisville. There are some good things and not so good things about the whole process, hence my middle of the scale 3 star review. I have to keep certain vaccination statuses current for work, so I have come here a couple of times to help keep those current. First, the good...the process with going on the Walgreens phone app and/or online to look for appointments and schedule as needed is great. There has been excellent availability and ease of scheduling. You fill out forms pre-visit on there (let's stick a pin in that one for later...) and you get a confirmation when completed. Also among the good, actually the great, was the nurse that did my actual vaccination this visit...helpful, pleasant, efficient and professional. Well, let's get to the not so good part...when you arrive in the pharmacy for the appointment. I was there well before my appointment time (the app informs you to be there 15 minutes before your actual assigned time). There is lack of efficient structure, one window is for vaccine check in but after you wait in line you get called to another window so there are about three lines with no sense of where you go except that they may have one window marked for another use that will be the one you go to. It took a long amount of time waiting to be processed. I understand that there may be extra things that have to be done with certain people to get the visit to process but the line got backed up considerably while I was there. Then when I had a confirmation number and information entered when I made my appointment online, I was informed that everything had to be entered manually even though information was provided during the online scheduling process. Remember that form I mentioned earlier, well, I had to fill the form out again on paper even though it was completed online, and not just once but twice for each vaccination itself...just not an efficient system if you do it online just to do it again in person. After the onsite processing was finally completed, the wait to get my vaccinations this time was not super speedy but acceptable compared to the wait in line to get processed and the processing itself. Did I get my vaccinations as needed? Sure did, and again, huge kudos to the nurse administering them. Was it the best process I had experienced before getting to the actual vaccination part itself? I have to say it was not.
