I just need everyone to know that Shei is PHENOMENAL!! I went in today with a return, and for some reason it was denying my return. I ordered online and in my order I got a makeup remover balm that melted (good ole NC Summer), and got everywhere in the box making my online receipt translucent and greasy, so instead they tried to look up my return under my loyalty. The order showed under my loyalty, in the app, in my email receipt, AND I had the card I used to purchase less than two weeks ago. I say all this to say: it was weird it wasn’t working. I’ve made a few returns in the past over the years and never had an issue. However, Shei was so kind and came over and sorted me all out. They explained what they were doing, and chatted with me while they did their thing. It took a hot minute and I could tell this was not normal, so I REALLY APPRECIATE them taking the time to do this for me when I was already having a bad day. I have hearing issues, and sometimes need to read lips, so I ALSO appreciate how clearly Shei enunciates their words. I know that doesn’t matter to most people, nor would they notice but it’s something that made my experience better. I also want to say: before I made my return, they also approached me when I was browsing to see if I needed any assistance which was so nice. Again, Shei was so helpful, give them a raise!! THANK YOU SHEI!!!! Your nails were so pretty and your hair was gorgeous!!!

Me and my friends went to this store yesterday and the lady in the cashier is soooooo rude to the customers. She yells/shouted to me like im a grade one student where she can politely say the words. I was totally shocked and traumatized by this staff. Im always a fan of Ulta but this staff is really in need of some management/anger issue seminar. Thought i was the only one but apparently my friend and other customer before us recieved the same attitude from this particular staff.

My stylist, Jacqueline, is an amazing, very talented lady, and I always look forward to my appointments with her. The salon is clean and professional, and I love their online booking option. The sales associates are super helpful, empathetic, and knowledgeable about their products. This location is by far the best I've ever patroned.

This store is absolutely atrocious. First they don’t have a good selection of nail products. Second the workers spoke to me like I was incompetent. Third I was trying to brows the perfume and I had asked if I could test the scents since I am new to perfume and don’t know what I like yet. When I realized all perfumes are locked up which is understandable, at that point I was just looking and told the worker did not need help any longer. She sent a manager over even tho I said I no longer needed help. Once he came over he asked me more questions of what is my scent profile and what I like which I responded with “I don’t know yet that’s why I came somewhere where I thought I would be able to smell all the scents.” He says that this is not the store for that and I said I didn’t appreciate the energy this store was giving and I was going to leave and he practically walked me out the door. This was handled so poorly and workers were very rude for no reason.

Ulta Salon - Not good experience. This was my second attempt at an Ulta Salon and I am not going back. First time was in Albany(where lady cut my hair visibly uneven) and second at morrisville past weekend. My stylist was TJ, very sweet guy but I am not happy with the hair color he gave, cut he gave and toner he used… n all this took 3 hours !! problem is he didn’t listen to what I wanted and was so confident in his approach… when I said color looks uneven n patchy he so passionately dismissed me that I was scared to say anything. I paid in full, tipped 20% and left … but the bad taste had not left me and I thought I should write a review. I am short of $300 dollars and very unhappy!! I am currently unemployed and this was my birthday treat to me and boy oh boy do I regret it ☹️

Very over priced salon. I was charged $57 for a “haircut” that didn’t even take off an inch of hair. I was in the salon for 5 hours! The hairdresser was nice, but does not make up for the time wasted and money spent. I’ve never spent 5 hours at a salon for highlights and a trim, and I’ve never spent this much for the service as well. High lights didn’t even come out even. Portions of my hair are toned nicely and other parts are clearly on the orange side of things.

Rana is truly an amazing employee at Ulta! Here I am traveling back from a deployment and I stopped through at Ulta to pick up a few products on my way to my final destination of home after 6 months. I was browsing the Clinique products, feeling a bit overwhelmed, when she approached me with a warm smile. From the get-go, she was incredibly knowledgeable about the Clinique line, especially their anti-aging products. As a 43-year-old who's starting to notice the signs of aging, her expertise was exactly what I needed.
What really stood out was how she took the time to understand my concerns. She didn't just recommend products; she tailored her recommendations to suit my specific skin type and concerns. It made me feel like she genuinely cared about helping me achieve my skincare goals.
But beyond her expertise, it was her personality that made the experience truly memorable. She was so kind and approachable, making me feel comfortable discussing my skin issues. And I have to admit, her compliments didn't hurt either! She made me feel flattered and, dare I say it, younger.
Thanks to Rana, I not only found the perfect anti-aging products for my skin but also had a wonderful experience. She's the kind of employee that makes you want to come back, not just for the products, but for the exceptional service she provides. I'll definitely be returning to Ulta for more of Rana's expert advice and friendly demeanor!

Moved to Cary, so I have tried to like this store for convenience, but its missing something. I wish they had MAC! I was unleashed with my brow service. I think I'll have to travel to Raleigh for what I need.

I recently went to the Ulta salon for a highlight. At the end of the treatment, my hair ended up really brassy/yellowed. I asked the stylist if this was fixable and they told me that using a blue shampoo would resolve this. Unfortunately, I've now tried a variety of blue shampoos/hair masks and seem to be stuck with this brassy tone. :/

Scheduled a brow wax and tint that was supposed to happen this afternoon. Got an automated text about 10 minutes ago saying that the appointment was cancelled. Immediately scheduled a wax with a different company instead, but it's not going to be in time of when I wanted it. Just received a voicemail saying that my tech wasn't feeling well and that's why they needed to cancel, but they had availability Friday. This was the first time I've tried to use the brow bar. Not very impressive that the first communication for the cancellation was a text that the appointment was cancelled instead of the call.
