Had an appointment w Andy today to help w my son's skates. Wonderful experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The shop is a long drive from my home but will happily make the trip to support this business. Shop w confidence. They have a customer for life.

I highly recommend this place to get new hockey or figure skates as well as to get them sharpened here too. Andy and Dean are super helpful and knowledgable (blade hollow depths, foot pronations, blade balancing, etc). I have had my skates sharpened at several places (several five hole sports and even used the sparxx machine) but PSB does are far superior job hands down. Customer service here is fantastic. They do get very busy so an appointment is usually needed, which is a good thing because that shows people trust them and are satisfied with their work. Andy and Dean really do care about their customers and try their very best to meet customers needs. Great job guys!

Highly recommend. I went in for a more extensive, custom fitting process and was not disappointed. Not only did they take the time to properly fit (including heating the skates), they also helped me modify my existing pair to hold over until the new ones come in. You are getting seasoned expertise and they clearly know their hockey gear. Be sure to make an appointment. You wont regret it.

I can't say enough about the exceptional PSB team. The customer service Andy and Dean provide is above and beyond the call of duty. Andy will truly do whatever it takes to make sure the customer is satisfied with their experience--even if it means providing a refund, doing a product swap, or taking a financial loss in order to make sure the customer happy and has the right equipment. You can shop here knowing that you won't be upsold or pushed into top-of-the-line merchandise for the sake of a sale--I made it clear that I had no budget, and I was still recommended a very reasonably priced option that would suit my needs. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel like more people need to know about Andy, Dean, and PSB Pro Services.

FYI for new customers, appointments are now required for skate services. I'm brand new to playing hockey and I didn't know about the appointment requirement. Due to a vacation I was only able to visit a few hours before my first game with a new pair of skates and no appointment... but Dean saw my situation and fit me in anyway! He did a great job baking my skates and sharpening the blades. Another customer and his sons came in while I was there with skates that had been poorly sharpened by a different shop and Dean explained the things that had been done wrong and how he would do it differently, so I feel like I made the right choice. I will be back for my future hockey skate needs!

I'm starting to get into inline skating and this was the only walk-in shop I could find that advertised a shop environment for working on skates. I went in today expecting to spend some money for some custom skate work or to find a new pair of skates.The guy I talked to was incredible. Though the shop is mainly set up for ice skating and hockey, guy demonstrated a level of expertise that made me feel like I came to the right place. He told me straight up that he might not be able to do much with my skates, but he would at least point me in the right direction. Super helpful!If I ever need work done on my skates, this is the place I'm going to.

Beginner level adult skater here trying to develop into a figure skater. Andy at PSB helped me pick a pair of nice, inexpensive figure skates that work well with my budget, learning trajectory, and end goals. He also taught me how to put them on properly and perform basic maintenance, heat moulded them, and adjusted both the boots and the blades to fit my flat arches and supination. He is knowledgeable, experienced, patient, considerate, and not afraid to voice his professional concerns.
