Horrible experience ordering! The lady in the black sweater and silver hair who decided her commission and upcharging was more important than good customer service. She quoted me $258 price for frames that were fully covered by my insurance! When I asked her for a price break down, she became rude! She spoke condescendingly trying to convince me that my daughter won’t be able to see or read without all of the padded extras was absurd! Lady! If her prescription isn’t enough for her to see and read, then maybe you should be the doctor! Telling my daughter her name was the same as her dog’s wasn’t a good conversation starter either!I give a superstar for the receptionist!! Beautiful. A star for the great selection and frame prices! My baby picked out a cute pair right away! The Doctor and exam gets a star! Superb! But I’ll never go back because of that horrible lady! No, I have not received an apology yet!Yes, I purchased the same glasses at MrEyeDr in Chapel Hill for $135.Best advice. Go to the Chapel Hill branch instead.

It was my first time needing and getting glasses, so I was a bit nervous. All of the staff was wonderful. They make sure you're well taken care of from the moment you walk in with the wonderful receptionist to the doctor to the ladies helping me pick out frames and making sure they fit well when the finished glasses come in.Never once was I treated differently because I have Medicaid. In fact, despite this office no longer taking my Medicaid and my prescription being from more than a year ago but not long enough ago to get a new exam and glasses somewhere else, she helped both of us out tremendously by adjusting the prescription to allow for us to replace our broken glasses. She had no obligation to help us out, no one from that office did. There was no benefit to them for helping us fix our broken eye glasses situation...none at all, but she went out of her way to make sure we could resolve it anyways. She is top notch and has always been kind and polite every time we have been in that office. Our only complaint would be that we can't continue to go there for our eye exams and glasses in the future because they no longer take our insurance, but that isn't anything that the wonderful people in that office have control over.In addition, we have never seen anyone in the office treat anyone else any differently than we were. We've only witnessed the same 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service being provided to all who come through their door. Thanks to all of you for everything! We appreciate you so much! Keep up the awesome work!

giving one star is too much. I am in the waiting area while typing this review . I am in the exam room for last 45 min. I went in the front 3 times alreday and all I hear is ildr. is checking other patient. i asked them if Dr. is checking other patient thst why are you guys keep taking appointment. the answer was eveyone wants to see them. yeah sure but we can't spend 1:30 min for the process for just simple eye exam. when the appointment was taken 4 weeks ago .. stay away from this place..eveone whose saying about staff is true in this review.. I read all the review while seating on the exam room for 45 min.. this place is a joke .. intern used and no accounting at all.

Today was my first appointment at this location, and I was impressed! From the helpful and friendly receptionist, to the techs, to the assistance with choosing new glasses- it was such an easy process. Dr. Reeves was great as well.Everyone was very helpful and kind. Thank you!

First red flag was their absolute insistence on eye drops. No good eye health place pushes eye drops this hard. I spoke to four different employees and every single one asked if I had dry eyes. Insane.Asked if they could put my new lenses in my old frames, as I was told my frames were discontinued (I have since checked, they are still made) but that they could get my lenses in just fine. After 3 attempts at "flipping" the lenses (how many tries does it take to put lenses in the right way???) They had absolutely mangled my frames to the point the arms bow out 20 degrees. Trying to wear these would ruin my eyes as they try to constantly adjust for how much the frames now can shift about. And after all that, looking over my glasses in my car, it slices my thumb open because whoever ground the lens edges down apparently did so with a rock while drunk, because there was a huge and sharp furl around the bottom of each lens.Absolutely insane this place is still open. 1/5, only because the two women who tried to adjust my glasses were cordial and competent. I hope they can find work at someplace less wack.

Warning: Do not go!!! Receptionist (older lady) was rude and condescending. ***They will profile you as you walk in the door*** if you have Medicaid they will make you feel like trash before you leave.

Had a good visit with the O.D! But you all have GOT to be more transparent with your pricing. I walked in being told that I would have a $40 co pay, and left with a $164 bill after insurance was taken into account for a contact lense fitting (I've worn contacts my entire life) and pictures of my eyes. I wouldn't have minded if I was told up front, but I wasn't and definitely left feeling salty. I don't think people should have to beg for their prices in healthcare, and I think this culture needs to stop. It definitely doesn't want to make you purchase contacts or eyeglasses from the location, just leaves you feeling bamboozled and dumb.

Today my daughter had an appointment with Dr. White as it was her first time at this location as well as handling everything herself ( just turned 18). She said that Dr. White was great and I sat in with her after the appointment to choose her new glasses, I believe her name was Rhonda was very helpful and pleasant. She helped my daughter with her selection as well as having her glasses shipped to a closer store. Overall pleased with appointment

Drs are great. Staff needs to learn something about courtesy and client relations. I see there are many who agree with me.

I received a call two hours before my appointment telling me that my appointment was pushed back an hour. I asked if they had any other times available that day, and was told that she “wasn’t holding a gun to my head” and if I really couldn’t do an hour later that day, I could take the next available appointment in 3 weeks. When I arrived at the new appointment time, I waited 45 minutes to begin my appointment. The tech and the intern who did the exam were great, and I only saw the actual doctor for 5 minutes at the very end. While I was sitting in the exam room, I could hear multiple people in the hallway talking about me using my last name and prescription/insurance label. Then while I was checking out, the person helping me repeatedly spoke loudly about my prescription as it related to my insurance to other reception staff in front of a very full waiting area. In total, I was there for almost 3 hours for an eye exam.

I'd give a zero if I could to this doctor office. The staff is consistently rude and racists to say the least. They make the patients wait too long unnecessarily while the misbehaving staff is busy doing nothing. I've had enough giving them chances considering that it is conveniently located and the doctor is good. I'm seriously changing my optometrist now. I'd not recommend this place to anyone. My whole family had been going to this place for years since we moved to this area.

I would like to share my recent experience at MyEyeDr (3603 Davis Dr Ste 100, Morrisville, NC 27560) I went there on 5/24/23 to adjust my frame. After I walked out the store and back into my car, I noticed the right arm of the glasses will not bend and fold and will not fit into my car cupholder where I normally keep it. I immediately walked back into the store to ask the employees to undo what they did and make my glasses' arm fold again. Instead of trying to figure out what was done to my glasses, the lady who did the frame adjustment took a look at the glass and told front desk to tell me that's not her issue. When I explained to the front desk this is unacceptable all glasses' arm fold, some damage was done inside the store to my glasses, the general manager came out and proceed to tell me there is dirt on the glass, that's why it will not bend. (This is completely illogical explanation). Finally, the general manager told me there is no video evidence my glasses was able to bend in the first place so therefore it's not their problem). The management that day was more concerned about trying to make me leave the store than trying to fix a problem their employee created .So, I walked out the Morrisville store, drove to the MyEyeDr Cary store, explained to the Cary store employees what has transpired, and they were able to fix it under 5min. my glasses now bend as normal. My takeaway for the MyEyeDr (3603 Davis Dr Ste 100, Morrisville, NC 27560): * There is is lack of technical expertise. If another location to which I'm not a customer can fix it and do it for free. There is 0 reason why if u r qualified at the job, you cannot make adjustment. * The way the manager quickly tries to suggest I have no proof my glasses was functional, implying I came in with a broken glasses potentially trying to scam to get new ones demonstrate complete lack of character, ethic and human decency. If this business thinks when they potentially damaged a customer's glasses, they can get away suggesting it's the other way around. There is no need for return customers. I have been a customer at this location for over 5 yrs, I did all my eye exams here, purchased on avg $400-500 per year for new glasses form MyEyeDoc, this makes me question whether I should continue to be a customer Overall, within the same franchise, if Cary location can fix my glasses with no question asked and free of charge. Morrisville location need to evaluate a couple of things: * Train your staffs to be qualified at glasses adjustment * Evaluate the situation before attempting to blame the customer. It demonstrates bad business practice and lack of morals.
