I am from Houston and recently relocated to NC for work. I was extremely hesitant to try out a threading place as I've had some mess ups before. I saw the reviews and thought this would be a great choice. I was seen very quickly and explained to the woman that I like to keep my eyebrows thick and very rectangular on the front. She assured me she could do this and said "yes a clean up." She threaded my eyebrows and trimmed them and when she gave me the mirror to check, I told her I could see that the front of my eyebrows were not straight, they looked curved. To this she said I needed to grow out the front of my eyebrows. I will attach a photo of how I typically get my eyebrows done back in Houston. As you can see- I have plenty of eyebrow hair and do not need to grow anything out. I showed her which hairs were missed and asked her to please make them straight. I also pointed out that there was a small section of hair that needed to be trimmed as my eyebrows looked like there was an odd curve right past the very front. She giggled and said okay. She did try to fix the front of my eyebrows, but when it came to trimming them, I saw her pull out regular scissors (yes, the kind you cut paper with). I jerked back and said no no no, I will just fix them myself. Those are not eyebrow scissors. She laughed and I walked straight to the counter to check out. I understand people make mistakes, but any serious eyebrow threader would NEVER use regular scissors as they are angled and now seeing which ones she used, there is no way she would be able to trim them straight with those. I paid the $8 and walked out and will not be returning. If you do choose this place, check to see that they are using the proper tools and definitely ask to see the progress.

My tech was amazing. She was very patient with me. Had the full face threading. Was something I've never done before and she made it as painless as possible.my face was nice and smooth. Would recommend Sumi.

Unsatisfactory experience for waxing! Owner kept saying you cannot expect service like India here….we do not press on the strips here. I had to request her twice to grip my skin (which I always request as I have sensitive skin). Finally I held it in place myself.
As professionals, they should have a basic understanding that not everybody’s skin is the same and their approach cannot be ‘we have pasted all the rules on the wall’. Atleast try to make an effort!

This was my first time here. Walked in and asked for eyebrow threading. I was seen immediately and she honored my request for a "clean up". My eyebrows were well shaped and I am incredibly happy with the speed and the work done. I highly recommend if youre looking for threading services in the area. Price was reasonable too ($8).

Got my eyebrows done here today. Not happy with the customer service at all, they called someone ahead of me and it felt very intentional because they saw me when I walked in. They also talk about you in their language. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable. I will not be coming back here.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon Mina's in a Google search as they hooked up my Eyebrows! I left feeling like a new woman as they shaped and trimmed my brows to really fit my face shape. And for only $8, well, $9 because I used my card, it was a great deal! I will be back again as the customer service was wonderful as well. They made me feel welcome, and they let me wait inside for my bus versus out in the cold. So, mad respect for Mina's. I will be back for some more eyebrow love in a month! Thank you!

I would typically get my eyebrows f done here, the quality of the eyebrows being done in the beginning were amazing. They tailored to make my eyebrows look as requested. in the past couple of months this quality has declined, specifically in the last 7 months I've been 3 times and all 3 times my eyebrows were not done as requested. they were made much thinner than my liking even though before they did them I would specifically tell them I wanted them thick and showed them areas not to remove and showed picture as an example. All in all it's not bad but now they tend to be heavy handed on threading more eyebrow than requested which I do not enjoy.
