I'm a previous Massage Envy Member. However, I hadn't been in since just before the pandemic. I went online to schedule an appointment for my friend and myself to celebrate her birthday. I was able to schedule one appointment online for a 90-minute massage (for $128), and then the other was gone. So I tried scheduling a 60-minute massage (for $85), but there was only deep tissue available (which I didn't want). So I added myself to the waitlist.I was called shortly after to confirm the 90-minute appointment and was told that there was an open 60 minute for the waitlist, so I took it.When I went to pay for my friends massage, I was informed that mine would cost $145 and hers was $128 as scheduled online. I inquired why and was informed because I was no longer a member. I didn't understand why I could book online for $85 but was being quoted something different in store. Monica, the junior manager, said that they don't give prices when scheduling appointments over the phone unless asked by the customer and that the price for service is only visible to staff if they open the account to schedule it. I guess opening a customers account is not standard practice when scheduling appointments. Which also didn't make sense to me.So I canceled my appointment and was forced to pay 50% of the inflated cost of the massage.My review is for their customer service. Terrible way to do business.I would not recommend scheduling with massage envy if you are not a member or do not plan to become a member. Also, if you do still decide to schedule make sure to ask what your cost will be and see if you can get the quote in writing to avoid being cheated.Update: I was contacted by the clinic manager who apologized and corrected the issue with a refund of some of my money as I was indeed overcharged for the cancellation fee. So I added a star.

When I first started my membership with this location, I was incredibly happy with the customer service that I received. Problems recently occurred with the Morrisville location when the credits that I’ve transferred and paid the transfer fee for other individuals couldn’t be located in the system. This has happened one too many times and the lack of accountability is almost overwhelming. I’ve had to transfer a credit to the same person twice because the initial credit couldn’t be found, only to find out later down the road that the name was entered incorrectly by the employee that I spoke with and was told that the recipient of the credit possibly tried to book online herself and entered the name incorrectly. Any Massage Envy member knows that you cannot book online with a credit. Bank account drafts of the transfer credits are on my bank account statements but yet again, no accountability from a few of the employees/managers at this location. It would be great to have good customer support and service at all times, but with this location it truly is hit or miss depending on who’s working from day to day.

The main reason for me giving 1 star is not because of the service I received from the massage therapist but because they canceled my appointment twice at the last minute and I ended up wasting time in driving to this location. Even though I had credit worth two months they simply canceled my appointment because my account reset to 'inactive' and it was purely because Massage Envy didn't rightly process the HSA card. It has been a frustrating experience because they could very well let me use my credits or I could have paid for the service but they have no right to cancel the appointment at the last minute without notifying me in advance.The manager Mitchel told me that this was the policy and that she could not do anything for that.

I have been a Massage Envy member since 2008. I am a Cary resident that recently discovered the Morrisville location. The front desk staff and atmosphere were excellent as typical with ME. The massage therapist was beyond excellent, he was superb. Jacob is an asset to the ME franchise and the massage services profession.

I got a facial at this location with Brittany, it was AMAZING! I haven't felt that relaxed in a long time. I love how she explained each product she put on my face and explained the benefits of each one. She was so kind and knowledgeable, I'd go back to her every time!

Such a bad experience , and charged me twice for the service they never did. I strongly not recommending this to anyone, its not value for money and time.

I went to massage envy for a slight massage day on my day off. I had a facial first with Marina which was amazing. I filled out all of my forms prior to my appointment and she made sure to pay attention and ask any needed questions to provide recommendations and feedback before starting. From start to finish my facial was awesome and so relaxing. I would highly recommend her for any of facial needs. Second I had a full body 90 min massage with Tanisha it was so amazing I fell asleep I wish I would’ve booked more time, but I’ll know for my next appointment because I surely will be booking again. She too took her time, was very knowledgeable, and just all around simply amazing from the beginning to the end. Highly highly recommend Tanisha!

Scam of a company, DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! I tried to cancel several times I even did the paperwork, I came in to show my residence changes and they let me know it would be the end of it wrong I was still getting charged! Then I was told that I would be automatically charged by month to month. That I couldn’t try to cancel till after the 12 month contract even though I moved this company is sleezy.

I have had very positive experiences at this ME Location. I have had the membership for the past year and I think it has been well worth it. Every person that I have seen for my massages and facials have all been wonderful, very nice, accommodating and willing to customize based on your areas of need. Highly recommend this location!

Customer service does not exist if you want to cancel. Didn't abide by policy as stated in contract of what was needed to cancel membership. After being with them for years, even through Covid when I couldn't even use their service, they raised monthly cost twice in the span of 6 months, never had good appointment times with the therapists I wanted, and then had the gall to charge me for an extra month membership because they didn't accept my email to cancel that was sent the required 10 days in advance (when actually, I'd contacted them to cancel way earlier than that, but they make you jump through hoops to cancel.)

I am runner and looking for good body massage after long runs. at Massage envy I always got good massage 5 start for massage. But to get that appointment is pretty challenging, in last 1 year time I never got appointment as my wish or first choice even i want to book it 2 months in advance and that is main factor for me to discontinue membership with Massage Envy,I strongly not recommending this to anyone, its not value for money and time.

No stars.Massage Envy will NOT honor a gift card without a credit card being provided by the person redeeming the card!!Don't purchase a gift card. They won't honor it without the gift card being secured by a credit card. I'm livid now. Corporate sent me back to the franchisee who tried to educate me on how businesses are run using a credit card to secure service. They should be ashamed that they do not advise if this "policy" when a gift card is purchased. "Management" should have at least offered me a refund of my investment...we'll see if I get at least that.
