Justin is an amazing human and the best realtor I've worked with! If you're looking for a realtor in the Triangle your search is over. He is passionate, knowledgeable, responsive, kind, honest, and reliable. His supporting team is incredibly effective, making the paperwork and closing process smooth and stress-free.
We purchased two properties with Justin's help: one in 2021 after relocating from San Francisco during the peak of the COVID housing market, and another in 2024 due to an unexpected change (we were very happy with our first home!).
Justin's superpower is his responsiveness. He often replies within minutes, and at most, within a couple hours if he's with another client. His quick responses enabled us to view multiple homes on their first day on the market. In 2021, we were the first to see the house we eventually bought, which allowed us to act quickly and close in a fiercely competitive market.
Justin is genuinely passionate about helping his clients find a home that's the perfect fit for them. He is incredibly patient and never pushes properties that aren't a good match, often nudging us away from ones that wouldn't be right for us. We viewed many properties initially, and Justin remained patient as he helped us narrow down our preferences for location and features.
He always looked out for potential issues before we made an offer, even going as far as checking crawlspaces and attics to ensure things were in good shape.
On top of all that, Justin made the process enjoyable. Our kids often joined us, and they adored him - he would even play with them when we needed a bit of time to explore a property.

We recently purchased a home in Holly Springs and undoubtedly it has been the most incredible journey in our home search with Justin.
As first-time home buyers, we had a plethora of questions for him and he answered all of them, cleared all our doubts, with so much patience and calmness. The value he provides is what I need and recommend: straight forward, no b.s., guidance around pros, cons, gotchas, timing, and more. This is hands down the most hard working agent you will work with. Justin works hard for his clients, isn’t afraid to advocate for them, and even goes the extra mile to make sure his clients are happy with their sale. We dealt with some pretty rude sellers who left the home an absolute dirty mess. Justin hired and PAID a professional cleaning company to get in and clean the home because he knew we needed to close on time. I’m not sure where else you will find an agent like this to go the extra mile. Justin was also very responsive, professional, and honest with us when looking at homes.

I had a good experience working with Justin. There are a ton of bad agents in the Raleigh area. It is madness trying to find a decent one that isn't flat out lazy or constantly gas-lighting you.
Justin is independent, so you aren't overpaying for the big box experience (like Coldwell or Keller Williams). If you get an agent from those other firms, their fees are higher since they are split between a team of individuals working your sale. When you hire him, you are working with him exclusively. I've had conversations with him late on a Saturday night and while he was at the airport traveling for vacation. He told me the right time to go live and we got asking price first day. Several other agents that I interviewed wanted to go live a month before hand and wanted to lower the asking price so they could move the property fast. You have to be really careful with these agents. The lazy ones will always sweet talk you to go live at a suboptimal time with a price too low. It sells fast and you think it was a great experience; however, you left thousands of dollars on the table.
I interviewed 5 agents, Justin had the lowest fees and gave me the highest price feedback that we could get. We got above the Zillow estimate at the time. As I said, we got asking on first day. He also doesn't do silly tactics like pushing for open houses or professional staging. Be careful of agents that push these. For example, open houses bring in nosey neighbors and other people that have no interest in buying. Open houses also help the agent build out their contact list. It is an out-dated method that does not sell houses in today's market. As for professional staging, it is a high risk strategy. Maybe it works for million+ dollar houses, but most buyers want to see the total space they have to work with. Lighting and pictures are the most important, and he uses one of the best photographers in the area.
He is a former engineer and has really good attention for detail. He'll point out stuff when he looks at the property that visually might help the sale. And, he will do it with the mindset of what is cost effective. For example, he noticed some tarnished lights that I replaced for $40. Did that help the house sale? Probably not; however, it was one of the first things you see before opening the front door.
All of his paperwork is electronic. And, there were no hidden fees. Everything was very transparent up-front as the seller.
Bottom line: Justin was effective, available, easy to work with, got me results with low fees, and I didn’t feel exploited at the end of the transaction. Hire him.

Justin was an excellent realtor to work with. Coming from out of state, we needed someone who understood this market and this area well, and would give their honest and thorough assessment of certain neighborhoods and homes when we weren’t there to see them in person. Justin was always straightforward and gave us the facts about the properties we were interested in, he never sugar coated anything or tried to “sell” us on anything. He consistently responded immediately and patiently to our every inquiry, and always addressed our concerns. The Premier Agents Network search portal was very user friendly, and when it came time to put in an offer the process was seamless, as was the closing. He thoroughly prepared us for what to expect throughout the process, and in the end, we got our dream home. We whole-heartedly recommend Justin Burleson without reservation to anyone who is looking for a real estate professional. We chose to work with Justin after interviewing multiple real estate agents recommended to us by our relocation agency - we were impressed by his knowledge of the local meta real estate market trends and his ability to plainly and frankly set expectations during what two years ago was a hot sellers market. We recently moved into our new home, and Justin has been a patient and knowledgeable guide and partner throughout the process. It took us almost two years to find the right home since we were unwilling to compromise, but at no point did Justin rush us. In fact, when we were close to settling a couple of times, Justin convinced us to reconsider by reminding us of how those houses did not meet out criteria, for which we are grateful. We appreciate his integrity, knowledge of local builders, geographical areas, trade contacts who can help assess and/or complete home improvements, and most of all his willingness to take the long-term view of his clients’ needs. Justin is the absolute best realtor that we have experienced. He found the perfect home for us, helped us out with financing when our bank's system wasn't working, worked tirelessly with the seller, and was so thorough that our closing was just a formality with no outstanding issues. We had been burned in the past by agents, so we may have asked for more services and confirmation than the usual buyer, but Justin just consistently delivered above and beyond our expectations. His advice was always spot on and he responded immediately to any questions that we had. In fact he was one step ahead of us throughout the entire process.
