I took a bag of shoes. There was an older lady there talking to her friend. I explained I had shoes. She took the bag and walked back to the back with it. She never said “thank you”. Just took them and walked away. She was rude. I wasn’t expecting a Noble Peace prize for donating, but a simple “thank you” isn’t too much to ask. I won’t be donating to them again.

Although the prices were very reasonable, I had a less than pleasant experience. I waiting at the register for awhile for an associate to ring me out and when she started ringing up items I let her know I had a larger item that needed to be added. She told me the total and I went to show her my student ID and she Interrupted me saying "you should have shown me that before I started" then said the total again. It is posted everywhere that students get a discount and although my total was small and the money is not a big deal maybe a greeting or asking if there are discounts to be added at the start would have helped from the cashier.

EDIT: this review is for the Morganton store and is under the Morganton store’s page. I’m not sure why the Jefferson Salvation Army replied.Closed every single time I try to go even though the business hours on Google say they’re open. You won’t be short staffed if you pay your employees a living wage.

Love this store, very nice. Always find great deals, got brand new items tags still on them. And staff is over the head nice, love going in here. Always clean and good experiences!! Love the great deals!!! Always find name brands for less!

Horrible! Buyer BEWARE!Bought a small cabinet for a kitchen that had a couple of things on top of it, like they were displayed. It was pushed up against a table on one side and the back was covered.The 3 sides that were covered were damaged to the point of not being fixable, but we didn't get to see that until it was loaded in our trailer.Spoke to manager who told me to 'have a nice dayAs a Child of God I am I credibly disappointed in this supposedly 'Christian organization.'Shame on you.
