I’ve never really been able to get my nails done anywhere without being judged for being a nail picker or where there was someone who actually wanted to help me grow my nails, that is until I met Emily! She just did my first appointment and I couldn’t be happier with them! She was amazing through my entire experience and has been there for me to ask questions whether it was day or night! She had tons of advice for me and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Always professional, never had a bad experience. Staff very pleasant and appreciate you being there. As a diabetic with neuropathy, I get careful exam of my feet and a wonderful pedicure. Been going a couple years now.

OH MY GOODNESS!! This is the best nail salon in Morganton! I scheduled my first appointment and they got me in at a time that wonderfully fit my schedule and in a timely manner! I walked in and was immediately greeted by multiple employees. I washed my hands and sat down and met my nail tech Drina who was so caring! I have very damaged nails from continued picking and she helped me find the best extensions for my situation and painted my nails wonderfully! She can do super cute designs but I wanted a more simple set this time. I got gel extensions and everything was done in a little over an hour! I was only charged $50 for a complete set of gels and I love them!! (This is the first salon that I could take my time, had a comfortable atmosphere, and carried on good conversation with the employees and other clients!) I was not shunned for my damaged nails; but welcomed and treated so so nicely! I have another appointment set up and I’m thrilled!!Services: Nail designs

For this review I am speaking of my experience with a specific nail tech only. My friend and I went to get our nails done before an important beach trip. This was our first time using this salon and our nail techs were selected for us. Her nails turned out amazing and I wish I could say the same for mine. My nail tech was late and admitted that she drank a lot of coffee prior to my appointment. She was jittery the whole time and my nails ended up bumpy. I’m not a confrontational person so I just paid the amount and left a tip in case she was having a bad day. The salon as a whole has a great environment and great prices. I think everyone will have a different experience depending on their nail tech.Edit: I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you to the owner for reaching out with an offer to fix my nails. I will have to politely decline solely due to where I work.Service: Acrylic nails

Just a non-local driving through and needed a good waxing service. Despite being completely booked, they happily took me in before hours and did an amazing job. Very friendly staff. Clean place. Owner is amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through like me.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to! The people that work there are stuck up and obnoxious! Not to mention the lady doing my pedicure did not clean the foot spa which resulted in a foot fungus issue! Unless you want a disease or foot fungus…. I REPEAT ? DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! There are reasons they weren’t the best of Burke county in 2021! Go to My Nails 2 if you want the best of Burke County on exit 103!!Service: Pedicures

I made an appointment on August 18, 2021. I paid a deposit of $30 per their policy that was posted originally to Facebook on May 6, 2021. Please see attached picture. I called today August 25, 2021 to reschedule my appointment which is not for three days. After speaking with someone I told them I would call back after I checked my schedule because they did not have an appointment on the day I was looking for. Ivy called me back about 20 minutes later and told me that I could not reschedule my appointment and that the deposit was nonrefundable and non-transferable. However per their own policy I was allowed one reschedule for the same deposit. Again please see the policy attached in the picture below that was posted on May 6 2021. After the phone call they updated their policy on Facebook and Instagram both to remove the line that says one reschedule allowed for the same deposit. Please see attached photo of the updated policy posted today around 12:30 PM. Ivy was extremely rude to me she refused to let me speak yelled at me for interrupting her and then did the exact same thing to me when I tried to speak. I know several people who go to this salon and love their nails. I was looking forward to my appointment however I will never step foot in the salon because of how I was treated. The $30 doesn’t matter to me one way or the other but the customer service and not following your own policies is just bad business.RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENT.Actually, it was not a funding issue. It’s a preference. I just prefer to have my appointments on the same weeks that my paycheck falls on because it is the same weekend that my fiancé works and we don’t have other commitments. I do not appreciate that your response seems to be an attempt to publicly humiliate me by assuming and stating that it was a funding issue.I did not refuse other appointments, but I also have a full-time job and I said I would call back after I checked my schedule. My full-time job is an hour away and I cannot get there before the salon closes during the week. So, Saturday is the only day that I have to get my nails done. If the policy was updated prior to the phone conversation then it should have been posted when it was changed. Not within minutes of the phone call ending. The woman that I spoke with who offered to reschedule, according to you multiple times, should have known the policy prior to me receiving a phone call from Ivy and not offered to reschedule. Non-transferable means some thing is not able to be transferred to another person which is not what I was asking for. I never once said that I was absolutely going to need to reschedule for several weeks. I said that I needed to check my schedule and see when I could do it. Regardless of whether Ivy thinks she was yelling or not, she was very disrespectful, cut me off, refused to let me speak and treated me with absolute disrespect. What are your customers supposed to go by regarding your policy when the only policy information regarding deposits was the one that was listed from May 6? I absolutely understand that policies change. I work in an industry where the only thing constant is change, however, I don’t change those policies and post them publicly after a dispute with someone where I argued that the policy was not what was listed on their professional business page.Even in your response, you still don’t seem to understand that the issue has NOTHING to do with the $30. It has everything to do with being argumentative about your own policy, stating it does not say one reschedule is allowed when I clearly showed that it did. All that needed to be said was something like “ I apologize but our policy changed and it seems like we failed to update it, because of our mistake we will reschedule your appointment and I’ll make sure it gets updated immediately.” THAT would have been good customer service and treating someone respectfully instead of the way the conversation transpired. That would have made me WANT to frequent your salon.

Saturday appt. Clean, nails were done neatly, supplies were available as needed. Not noisy. Prices were appropriate for area. Pleasant experience.
