Sorry place to shop! Guy working there would not let my husband pay for tylenol with our OTC card he told my husband that no dollar general takes OTC cards funny to me never had no trouble with any other dollar general. Never shopping at that one again!

Bought two folding chairs here. We never used them, so I went to return them the next day. The woman working on 7/25/23 at 5:10 PM looked at me very skeptically. She asked me when I bought them. I'm on vacation and I'm not keeping track of the days, so I said 2 days ago. She said couldn't return them because my answer didn't match the receipt, as if I was trying to buy beer with a fake ID. I said I got my days mixed up. She then said my receipt was "all crumbly". I told her I didn't plan on returning them so I crumbled the receipt up. She then said it was a seasonal item and was not returnable. Total ripoff. The woman clearly just didn't want to process the return. She said I would have to talk to the manager, who of course, was not there. She said she was working the next morning. I will be back to talk to the manager.

Shelves are rarely stocked. The grey haired woman who works there parks in f r ont of the door, next to the handicap space. This does make it convenient when she goes out to smoke. The district manager needs to get involved in the operations of this store.

The older woman who is the manager at this store on 64 by Brendel town grocery is rude, my dad is 69 yrs old and he was looking at a toy snake and she came up to him and said she could throw him out for playing with the toy snake running her mouth. She shouldn't be working anywhere period treating ppl like that plus a good friend of mine quit after working there for yrs because of her. Ppl are starting to go to other stores because of her. We usually stop there but no longer will. I'm getting her name and reporting that hag!!!

The store manager Audrey is very unpleasant and does not even greet you she will look at you with disgust on her face at this point I will be avoiding every Dollar general that I come across if this is the type of people Dollar general employees as managers

So Monday my husband goes in there right at 7pm and he said he stood in line for about 20 minutes with a whole crowd of people in line behind him. All 3 or 4 workers were outside smoking ? and finally a lady from the line goes outside and tells them “Hey, you got a very long line of people!” One worker got a huge attitude like “Y’all really can’t wait a minute?!” Then my husband said he slung the bag of dog food on the counter and just left everything he had right in line and walked out because these women were incredibly lazy and rude!
