We were visiting the area and our senior dog needed care. Not only did they fit me in the schedule the next morning, but the staff was very friendly and compassionate. They took care of our pup quickly and also for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this veterinarian to anyone.

Watch this vet - they will do testing you do not want and then charge you for it at checkout! Also made comments about our Doodle being a COVID puppy because he didn’t want to go with them, made comments about his hair, questioned me multiple times when I told them we use Sierra Pet Meds as if I was lying.

The only vets in Morehead that would accommodate refilling a prescription for our pet as called in by our Raleigh Vet. All of the other vets would not refill the meds, even though they had them in stock, without an office visit..$$$ hungry are my thoughts. This is the 2nd time Mitchell Village Vets have come to our rescue when out of town care was needed for our furbaby. Mitchell Village Vetinary Hospital rocks!our furbaby!

My Scout was spayed on 10/04/2023!! I have the utmost confidence in the staff at Mitchell Animal Hospital! The doctors there are caring and take the time to care for each pet individually and explain everything to me in a manner that I can understand! And the staff!!!! They are caring and compassionate and have become friends!!!! Dr. Marci Godwin is wonderful!! Pattie Johnson Plyler

Very attentive and caring staff. From the front desk folks to the vet techs, everyone shows a vested interest in your pet’s well-being. The Vet’s themselves have a lovely, caring, and thorough approach to caring for their patients. Our visits never feel rushed and I feel like my animals are in great hands under their care.

I have two crazy little Jack Russells, but the staff always treats them like they are the sweetest dogs in the world. Keeps my fur family healthy ?

The actual doctors/vets here are GREAT. HOWEVER, beware if you have pets that may be even slightly hyper or excited. There have been several techs and staff members who have made rude comments about our dogs infront of us, rolled their eyes, and treated us like a nuisance. We have 2 doodles under the age of 2 they are puppies being puppies.. many of the staff is kind and get that and have apologized when another staff member is rude. Unfortunately we had to find a new vet because these incidents continued to occur after I brought them to attention in their surveys.

Thank you to all at Mitchell Village Animal Hospital for your compassionate care of our Courty who was put to rest after 16 years yesterday. His paw print is amazing and hanging on our wall. You were all so kind and understanding of the heartbreak to lose your one and only pet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Mike & Karen

Ever since dr. Hall passed away the clinic is not the same anymore I have tried to get my dog in there today to get seen for a problem with his eye they said they'd call me back but I feel I've been going there for years and I think I should have been able to be seen by a vet for my dog

An incompetent staff, "doctor" as well as incredibly rude demeanor. I do not understand how they're getting 5 stars other than those people must only need the most basic service. If you love your pet, go elsewhere.

I called an explained that my indoor/outdoor cat was either attacked by another animal or hit by a car and asked if she could be seen on a emergency basis. I was told that the doctor was too busy and referred to the Havelock Emergency hospital or Swansboro Emergency. I am absolutely stunned by this. Looks like I will be looking for a new veterinarian for my cats. The complex lack of concern for my cat is appalling!

x-ray did not come out well she never took another one or showed it to me, instead, want to put the dog to sleep to check her ligaments. The dog suffered for several months more which could’ve been avoided. Broken leg, had to take her in for surgery to get a plate and her leg, tiny dog don’t know how she misdiagnosed that one.

Very poor customer service/ lack of southern hospitality.“Good hospitality and manners are well-known stereotypes of the American South. Psychologists believe that the South is so well-mannered because it has a culture of honor, where an individual's reputation is precious. “ googleMy new patient appointment:0ver a 3/4 hour wait without any consideration ... NO apology given Romeo and I is NOT Southern Hospitality. Nor is it acceptable anywhere I've ever been. It’s a matter of disrespect of my most precious commodity, TIME. Plus the waiting area bench was like a church pew, very uncomfortable. My back and butt still hurt!

Dr. Davis and her staff are amazing. Not only are they great at their jobs, they are compassionate and caring.
