Lowe's originated this job. Stone Systems of Raleigh is the company they use for their countertop installations. I highly recommend that you look at their reviews before you choose Lowe's.
I retired after 32 years from a business that valued delivering quality customer service.
Stone Systems of Raleigh does not.
It took them 6 weeks from the initial installation to complete the job, requiring us to devote 5 days to appointments.
I was told on six different occasions that someone would call me back, and no one did.
I caught two of their employees in lies.
They were a no show on a Monday and no one called me.
(That morning I called to get an ETA, and was told that someone would call me back in 30 minutes. I waited 90, and called them back. After being disconnected twice, I was told they would be here by 4 or 4:30.)
If I were running a business, I would be embarrassed by a 3.1 rating. However, based on other reviews, it's obvious they have no desire to correct this problem.

They did not have the item I needed (so I was told) but as I looked at store website, it stated they had item in stock. I'm glad my lovey used to work there and began to look at overstock on top shelf and found the item we needed. They were no help at all. Then we finally found someone to get them down. Gave us the 3 we needed and put the rest back up top, ummm why the spot was empty fill it.

Have to give a huge shout out to Jessica C. from customer service. She was extremely patient with us when returning all of our many items (currently remodeling our house). She promptly called for help when a decision was not hers to make. Extremely nice and helpful. Hope you are there each time I need some assistance. Thanks Jessica!

The cashier was great. It seems that if I need help finding something that all the workers on the floor scatter...grin

Do the research on what you need, help is hard to find, but most lack knowledge in specific areas.

The employee Len was amazing. I was in the garden section. He helped me find and choose plants for my house, which weren't toxic to my cats. He was very professional and friendly.

I placed an order online with Lowes. As you can see, the order says will be delivered today, and there is no delivery charge. A young lady called me shortly after the place order. She advised me that their delivery is kinda like Door Dash, and since the stones would have to be placed on a pallet, there would not be a vehicle that can carry them to me. I advised her that the online order said delivery today and no charge. She replied very rudely that "I was definitely charged for delivery $149.00" Then she continued in a very demeaning fashion that she was just calling to let me know that I would not receive these products today. I said that's fine, cancel and reimburse the order, I would get them from Home Depot. She said fine and hung up. Not exactly a pleasurable interaction. Lowes is of course at fault for misinformation on their website, but if this young lady is the front line for customer service I suggest they go back to the drawing board.

Jani was a great associate. She was very helpful in selecting a fan and a new lawn mower. Her assistance and knowledge was very valuable in my choices. She explained everything and the value of the products. I went away happy with my purchases and will return.

Returned a yard trimmer that was under warranty with Lowe's. In the past I had many problems trying to do this, but the staff up there at the customer service desk were outstanding today.
Special kudos to Benny and the girls at that desk.

This store truly needs employee training. No bar codes on two mark down items took over 20 minutes to check out. Started out at self check out due to only 1 register being open at 11am on a Saturday morning. The older lady working out self check out is quite rude. I was talking to my husband and said I think we'll need help with these cabinets. She turns around and is very sarcastically saying to me huh? Then before I said anything she says I'll get to you when I'm done. We rang up all of our items with bar codes and were left with the cabinets. She then says you'll need to go to full service check out and canceled our sale. She was not even willing to try and her tone left alone to be desired. Once we got to the other check out we ended up waiting for a manager who had to make calls for pricing codes etc. so the over all experience was not a good one. We are restoring a house and are at lowes 5x or more a week over the past month. We normally go to the lowes in new bern and have had nothing but great knowledgeable help each and every visit. To top it all off we get home only to realize she never gave us the military discount even after being sure my husbands name was on the register as recognized discount when we started the check out process.
Guess she just forgot to push the button. What happened to this location.

I was trying to purchase a new refrigerator. However I sat around for about 15 minutes, I was never greeted by anyone in that department. If this how you treat your customers in a veteran community, I wouldn't want to see how non veterans are treated.
