4340 Arendell St, Morehead City“I don't know a whole lot about fixing vehicles, mechanically speaking or so I thought. But as the years pass you pick things up here and there especially never owning a new vehicle and having probably 12 used trucks and SUVs, plus multiple work trucks (diesel). So the younger staff needs at least one tech that knows mechanically speaking what they have and can do. Never owned a car other than a little kia POJ. But I can tell certain things and others are a mystery. They have a reasonable parts selection and prices are a little high. But the kids behind the counter are that. Kids in highschool or just out of highschool. An argument took place there just 2 days ago when I went in for the bushing assembly on the shifter cable for my chevy (automatic) amd the kid handled himself professionally when a gentleman/guy had to return for a second time with a part that wasn't right. He got heated thinking he was being told what he was saying was wrong when in fact the employee was agreeing with him. It was handled well and was on the side of the employee just because of his age of anything were to happen. Hahaha, that being said the guy did realize and apologized seeing that he was just upset and shouldn't have lashed out. That speaks a lot about the employees and the customer service. I enjoy the fact that I can possibly be on par with the knowledge on some things, which in turn helps any employee if they don't have to guess. But they should have an experienced tech there for the parts side. Thats just my opinion and the computer system at some parts stores around the country can be archaic at best. So they do get a 4 star in my opinion and if you asked the customer im sure he would agree to that or a 3.5. Overall it's a pretty good store and especially if they provide the oil return service as in take your old? oil off your hands for you. Some do it for nothing or did, and some charge a small fee. But not sure at that location. And there's nothing kikenthebrekkief of a usable toilet along with some knowledge”
“Charles, the manager, David and Sam in the Auto Care center were amazing when I needed help with my tire. The people at this auto care center deserve all the recognition in the world. If I could convince corporate to give them all raises or a bonus I would call whatever number needed. I've also encountered the other Charles at this locations and he was amazing at explaining how long the center could hold my tire orders and understanding when I needed some more time. 5 stars. and 5 more if I could.”

“Went to head over to Captain's Table for breakfast. My 10 year old RAM 1500 battery barely cranked which I stupidly attributed to not being started for a week. After breakfast, it wouldn't start. Walked across Arendel to Kittrell's CarQuest. They kindly lent me a jumper. Ten minutes later I was back at the counter paying for my OEM spec DieHard Platinum battery. Kittrell's made a bad start to my day, no big deal.”
