“Aldi has great prices and I’ve never been disappointed in their store brand. Stopped in and picked up bacon and lettuce to make BLTs. Bacon was $3.99 for center cut and indistinguishable from brand names.”
“This is the store I always stop at when I'm in the mood for a redbull, or I need cigarettes. The women that run the store are really friendly and always make you feel welcome. The store is laid out efficiently, and you can even pay your power bill here, too. I would recommend the market store to anyone.”
“Best little farm store! Fresh ice cream, homemade dog treats, and the food truck was perfect! I was only in North Carolina for a week and I went there twice. The people who run the shop are nice as can be and have a sweet little dog.”
“We ordered lunch for our monthly company luncheon and it did not disappoint! We ordered cacoila and linguica finger sandwiches, a pan of pork alentejana and a pan of chicken Mozambique. Had to have bread to soak up the sauce too! We thought we may have ordered a bit too much but apparently not since most of the food was gone by the end of the day! We will definitely order again in the future. Excellent service and hospitality as well! A very kind employee rolled the cart of food out in the rain and helped me load the food into my car to make sure nothing would spill! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I like the fact that this location has been remodeled with updated security features as well as n new floorplan and as I previously mentioned, the inventory selection is broader which is AWESOME”

“Great store for most part expect for the crazy lady that was working there couple weeks ago.. Stopped in one night,she had her dog in there and it had pooped in floor and she was acting like it wasn't there. Smelled awful.. I waited in line for what seemed like forever because she didn't know how to stop talking . very unprofessional as she was talking about other coworkers . very glad she is gone now.. Makes stopping in better”

I remember my great grandma always stopped by and got me some and then we would stop at Jimmy's gas station and he'd come out to pump her gas for her and he say girl where's my taters at? “I love this little country store! Sadly these little places are becoming a thing of the past. Fortunately this place is close to my home and I'm in and outta there all the time. The owner is the nicest man and such a sweetheart. The prices are very reasonable and he always has the best fresh fruit and veggies to choose from. All around a great business!”

“This store has been in town for many years. The store is clean. The staff are real friendly & helpful. A good place to get a drink & paper from. Gas prices are on par with all other stores. You can pay at the pumps.”
“I shop at Dollar General store a lot. The digital coupons are not always cooperative and I only gave them 4 stars because my digital coupons usually work but I got a surprise when I used them on this trip. I'm not sure if it didn't work out like it usually does because I had a different "preferred" DG store.”

“Some of the best workers are at the one on Brushy Mtn beside the coffee house. They have the cleanest store of any. Even their parking lot is clean. Love the Run-Ins but especially that one.”

“Very close to my home usually had everything I need at time,really like Cindy the owner,even have take out foods,only problem most ppl have with it its not open till 9or11 pm & not open on Sunday for several years but they used to be,&I myself wish that would change but when I lived in ashe Co for 45 years at least 20yrs I worked down here& creekstop wS an everyday stop!however better not be speeding or run stop light the cops really police the sore& that rd plum past the store,hahaha”

“This is a great store. I've gotten to know the people that run it & they are so friendly. The store has all the regular things offered plus all kinds of knives, jewelry, cbd products. You never know what will be in there for sale.The gas is cheaper than anywhere in town. The gas pumps are old though, they don't take cards at the pump & once I had the gas handle set to fill my car put the handle didn't flip off & it poured gas out on my car, shoes, & the ground.I now know to hold the handle myself & never set it since it might not turn off.Other than that it's worth it to get the cheap price on gas.A really great friendly store.”
