My daughter's car wasn't safe to drive home from work, so I had it towed to Tuffys. Jesse made sure to give me a detailed estimate, along with a guarantee the work could be completed that same day, which it was. He was very knowledgeable, as well as polite, and I feel confident to have repairs done there again, if necessary. Thanks so much for taking good care of us!

Jamal (Asst. Manager) and his tech were absolutely amazing! They were so detailed in telling me why my brakes needed to be replaced, and even invited me in back to show me what was going on. Such great, fast service and so much appreciated! I highly recommend them!

I've gone to the Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center on Williamson Rd in Mooresville a few times and always feel taken care. The employees are friendly and make sure to explain what they're doing or seeing with the vehicle, and take trying to eliminate your wait time seriously. It was the same during my most recent visit, however, Jamal and Darius went above and beyond with a deal on the service. It was very unexpected but greatly appreciated.

On the way to pick up our son from College, tire pressure started to drop in our front driver's side tire. My husband pulled over to find a screw in the tire. We called Tuffy, and spoke with a young lady who was very kind and knowledgeable. She advised she could get us in right away. The experience was pleasant and she was exceptional. Thank you for your help and for getting us taken care of and back on the road so quickly!

I got an estimate to get my AC compressor replaced on my Fiat 500L a few weeks ago. My original estimate was at $2000. Evidently it’s a tedious job on a Fiat. I did’t have $2000 to spend on my car right now so I drove around a few weeks with no AC in the middle of the summer, which was horrible. Someone told me to try Tuffys because they were honest and they did a good job. I went by there on a Saturday morning and spoke with Jesse, the store manager, Shay, who is the mechanic, and Kendra. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Not only did Shay show me exactly what was wrong with the compressor and the belt, they gave me a price that was $600 less than my first estimate! I dropped my car off at 8 o’clock, and I had it picked up by noon. it was the most unstressful experience at the repair shop I’ve ever had. So thank you thank you thank you, Tuffy and your staff for cooling off this Fiat driver! I highly recommend Mooresville Tuffy’s!

Hi Robert, I'm reaching out to you because attempts to communicate with the owner of the Tuffy location at 108 Lost Tree Lane, Mooresville NC 28115 have gone nowhere. I have attached invoices from Tuffy and the diagnostic report from Lake Norman Dodge. You will see the original repair from march to replace a fuel pump. Repair was completed and within two weeks the truck would not start again, brought it back to Tuffy and they had it for a couple weeks trying to figure it out. They determined it was an electronic/computer issue. They installed new electronics/computer and had new keys made, I paid, walked out to the vehicle and it wouldn't start. They held onto the vehicle a bit longer before giving up and advising me to take it to a dealership as they could not figure it out. The dealership diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump (the original diagnosis by Tuffy). They had the Huntersville Tuffy location conduct the warranty repair. Since a fully functioning fuel pump has been installed, the truck is running fine for about a month. Had a fully functioning fuel pump been installed from the start the $1500 electronic/computer work should never have been done. I have tried to discuss this with the owner of the Mooresville location and discuss a refund. Not as important but after the two month long back and forth, my passenger side seatbelt alarm won't stop going off (I know I can disable this, but that is not the point as when I picked up the vehicle, they had the passenger seat belt buckled in, which means they were aware and did nothing) and my charging adapter was pulled from its socket with wires exposed when I picked up the vehicle and it no longer works. I apologize for such a lengthy email but hopefully you can see what I have been through and be of some assistance in the matter. Thank you in advance for anything you can do! This was my latest attempt at them to do right by a customer. Meanwhile, you walk into the lobby and there is nothing but posters about their customer service.

So hard to find a good HONEST mechanic these days (that won’t break the bank). These guys were AWESOME! Especially Jesse, kept me entertained while they flawlessly dealt with my tie rods and tires! Would highly recommend!

Jesse was super helpful and kind in assisting me with my car. He helped me get new tires and realigned my car so it feels like it drives brand new! He was very informative and broke down everything so I wasn’t confused and I felt very comfortable bringing my car here. Best experience & service I’ve had at an auto place!!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The women at the front desk is unknowledgeable and not accommodating whatsoever. We called ahead and told them the make and year of our car for a simple oil change and they said, “come right in no wait.” We get there and the women at the front desk told me, “I wish you told us the year of your car, we need a computer to do that, which we won’t have till Tuesday. Also, if you could go to Kia and get the oil filter that would help too. We could get you in this up coming Tuesday.”I have never heard of such a thing but didn’t waste my breath. We left, went to a competitor and was in and out in 10 minutes, even on a Saturday. Cannot recommend this place nor will we ever go here again.

If you are in need of any auto services, Tuffy Tire & Auto service in Mooresville is the place to go!! I was in a tough spot and need a tire patch. Jamal and his team got me in ASAP and took amazing care of me. Got me fixed and back on the road in 20 minutes. It’s hard to find honest/good customer service nowadays, but this place is 5 stars in both categories. Thanks Jamal and team!!

Jessie was very helpful, polite, and efficient. It was overall a great experience. My vehicle was in and out. I was really surprised at how quick they were able to get to my car.
