This place is a scam. Do not work with them. They have been basically holding me hostage for 2 months and will not provide a refund. They refuse to give actual updates and have made a simple fireplace unit repair become a nightmare. Do not use them at all. Absolute joke

I had service done for converting my propane grill to gas. Quote I got was for $185/hr but the technician spent at least an hour walking back and forth from his van, smoking a cigarette or sitting in the van. He was very inefficient. I have it all on my ring camera.In addition, they installed the gas hose on the wrong side. He ran it behind the grill instead of taking the shortest route. Unfortunately, I was not home to micromanage his work. You would think he would have done it correctly or at least call me to ask. Now I have to patch the hole and rerun the hose from the other side.

Stay as far away from this business as possible. This review I'm sure will be followed by a note on how they strive to do the best they can and just give them a call to make things right. Don't fall for it and spend time reading the negative reviews. Many follow a pattern similar to my experience which is pay for a product (no credit cards and therefore no recourse of having the charged reversed) and get promised delivery dates which come and go. It's always "next Wednesday" or "next Friday" or "I have to check with Anthony" etc. In my case this has gone on since September of '23 and I still don't have either the product or my refund. The refund of course was promised 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Excuses are "couldn't get to the bank in time", "It's MKL Day so the bank is closed", "I was out of town on a family issue" and I'm sure another excuse is right around the corner. Several weeks ago, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General of NC, and they sent a demand to this business to provide documentation. It will be interesting to see what happens. There are lots of places who do what this business does, and I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Anthony and his crew did a great job helping us decide on the right grill to replace our 19 year old built-in Viking grill. They worked with us to ensure the new grill looked like the space was made for it. We especially appreciated them leaving our back porch area spotless upon their departure.

If I could give NO STARS, I absolutely would. They cam out in August to repair our outdoor fire pit. In September, they came back and asked for almost $600.00 to order the part. From Sept. to Jan would not respond to our calls, messages etc... In Jan. I spoke to someone in the office. She stated that the manager said they would have our fire pit repaired by end of Jan. or they would refund us fully. I have called and left messages. Today, I received a text that stated they would come out next week for the install. This is only after I asked for our refund again and told them I was going to hire an attorney. I told them again today, that I do not want them to fix this now and we just want our full refund. NO RESPONSE TO MY MESSAGE OF COURSE. STAY CLEAR OF THESE MONEY GRABBERS.

This is the second time we have asked The Grill Doctor to clean and service our DCS grill.The technician (Cort) was professional, thorough and provided an explanation of what needed to be done as a result of a side burner issue. We are very pleased!

Great experience! Grill Doctor came highly recommended from a Big Green Egg dealer in CLT.Long story short, BGE fell off a wall and the Grill Doctor was able to put it back together again.Great communication and service. A very cool team. I usually replace my own felt band thing, but look how tight they got it.

Paid for a drawer, below the grill, but a different make was installed. Ordered a Gas Pizza oven but was provided a Propane oven. Told the conversion kit was on order but found out that they aren't even made. Told lies throughout the process and took a month to get my refund.

I had an excellent experience with The Grill Doctor. I called around and got several quotes. One thing that impressed me was that The Grill Doctor was able to remove my old logs and install The new ones without the need for a third-party. I called them three weeks before Christmas and asked would it be possible to have them installed by Christmas since we were hosting family. They made no promises, but said they would make their best effort. They came through on this and completed the installation in one day. If I ever have any logs or fireplace needs my first call will be to The Grill Doctor.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! On 9/7/23 I paid $461.14 for a Big Green Egg cleaning and replacement parts. Anthony came and cleaned and was supposed to fix a broken BGE fire Bowl and fire ring. He did not have the correct parts and said he would come back to replace. After a week, I went and purchased a fire box and fire ring, which cost $189.99. At that time, I let Kathy know I was replacing the items and they could just refund the cost, in which she agreed, via text, that my credit card would be credited on 10/23. On 11/2, my card had not been credited. On 11/9, I reached out again and was told, via text, that Anthony was currently out of the office and they reminded him of the refund owed to me. on 11/17, I still had not heard back and called and texted, and was told, via text, that a check was going to be dropped off at my house on 11/28. On 12/1, still nothing. I received a text saying the manager had been away on a family medical issue and is responsible for handling refunds and that he scheduled a refund drop off at my house on 12/7 or 12/8. Still nothing. On 12/8, i received a text that said the technician is currently on a job site and behind schedule and would drop off a check on 12/12. I have received nothing and I am now getting texts back saying this number does not receive replies and to contact the business directly, in which I have tried to do via phone on several occasions. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered $$$ grill grates for my Fire Magic grill in May 2023. It's now December 2023 and I have no parts and no refund. I have asked for a refund on several occasions. Crickets. I have asked to speak to Anthony on multiple occasions. Crickets. After looking online, I am seeing dozens of other customers are sadly in my same situation. They no longer answer the phone or respond. Terrible business. Deliver the parts our return the money so we can get things done right with another reputable company.
