I am absolutely devastated with my experience with Jen at this salon. I have been getting my hair done here for 6 months. I buy all my hair products here as well and never knew there was a problem until today. I was blindsided this afternoon after receiving a call from Jen 3 days before my appointment to cancel because “we weren’t vibing” and “I don’t think I’m the right hair stylist for you.” Granted I have loved my hair most times getting it done here. I have been getting k tip extensions and she has struggled to match my hair in the past with the extensions, so we’ve had to make follow up appointments to match the color. I have always been kind and understanding when this happens and always tip at least 20%. Most recently she has taken me from platinum blonde to a lot darker. I didn’t want to be as dark as she made my hair so I was disappointed. This is a shock for any client and takes a few days to get used to especially since I was so blonde for so long. I did not want to be as dark and ashy as she made me. The picture I showed her was more warm toned blonde. She tried to fix it before I left and she said the toner didn’t take. My extensions also had smudges all over them and she fully blow dried my hair knowing this and never said anything. I saw it at the end and she acted surprised even though she just gave me a full blowout and there is no way she didn’t notice the large amounts of smudging all throughout my hair. She put foils on and fixed most of the smudging but I still have some throughout that I’ve found the past couple of days. That day at the salon I told her it’s not her fault and I would just need a few days to get used to the color. She then told me we would hold off on putting more extensions in my hair until the next appointment, so we can make sure I’m happy with the color. The next time I talk to her she’s calling me to cancel my appointment and dumping me as a client 3 days prior to my appointment. I asked her if she can please just finish fixing my hair and then I can find a new stylist after if that is how she feels and she tells me that’s not a good idea. This is incredibly unprofessional and felt more personal. I am heartbroken and devastated because I have a trip next week and she cancelled a very important appointment for me and is refusing to fix what she messed up.

I saw Jennifer for a Consultation and she seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to understand what I wanted when I come back in to have a hair cut and highlights done. I have had such bad luck I am hoping Jennifer is going to finally fix my hair the way I like it. She seems so very nice.

Stylist: Kandi did my hair and it’s one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. This came at a recommendation from another hair stylist which I thought was telling.

I commuted from Raleigh just to have my hair blessed by none other than Miss Kandy Pavon. She is an excellent hairstylist and very detail-oriented when it comes to her work. I have very lengthy hair…and I mean an abundance of it! She booked me last so that she could take her time with my hair and even EXCEEDED my expectations! The last time I went to a salon I left in tears and swore I’d never let anyone touch my hair again, but moving forward I will ONLY let Kandy do her magic on me✨ She has brought color and life back into my appearance and I can’t be any more grateful! I’m not the best at explaining exactly what I want, but with her being able to listen and do exactly what I asked AND more…I can confidently say that she has an innate sense of expertise when it comes to her work as a hairstylist. Thank you Kandy you will see me very soon with a fatter tip! ;)

Emily did a Fantastic job on my hair and she is so sweet with a Beautiful spirit. The haircut and the color turned out fantastic.. Would recommend her to anyone. The whole staff is very professional.

I visited Jennifer to fix my hair and give me a fresh cut. She was definitely not working with a blank canvas due previous color I had, and she still managed to pull off a better result than I could have ever dreamed of. She made me feel special and not at all like an inconvenience, and we have the perfect amount of verbal conversation (I am quiet and like to chat but get exhausted by it if it’s too much). I am blown away, have gotten many compliments, and I hope to stick with her for good! The salon itself is also clean and refreshing and everyone there seems friendly and put together.

Booked my appointment in January for the day of my prom! Tess had an emergency which I completely understand and am not upset about her having to cancel with three hours of my appointment. I’m a tad upset that over all of their location I had to practically beg for someone to get me in that day, I feel like if my appointment was canceled in 3 hours of time there should be a back up at least some locations. After being transferred to like 4 locations a girl named Kandy squeezed me in,she such a good job and made my bad prom experience good! Again tess has done good at my hair not mad at her just wish they organized things better

I had my first experience at Hudson Salon Mooresville this past Saturday. I had Kandy for full balayage. She was a joy to talk to and I don’t know if the color of my hair has ever looked this good. It was so well blended and natural-looking. I will definitely be scheduling my next appointment with her. Kandy, you rock!!

Taylor Orr is now my go to girl. She did a wonderful job for my complicated hair on my initial visit, and she LISTENS! Being 1/2 Hispanic with dark hair who wants BRIGHT hair, SHE knows what she is doing! Very cheerful atmosphere! They make you feel very welcomed with a high end atmosphere! Love this place!

Kandy is amazing! I got a French bob and she took her time to make sure it was the exact length I wanted. Gave me great advice/showed me how to style it too. Can’t say enough wonderful things.
