Great staff, very personable and always helpful. This was my first main bank and they grew with me over the years; from a simple checking account to saving accounts, credit cards, and even safety deposit boxes. Every step of the way they were always patient and helpful. They explained how these things worked and never tried to "upsale" me on money services, such as high interest rates. Truly one of the best banking experiences I've ever had the pleasure of having throughout my nearly decade working with them.

They ripped me and my customer off, charging exorbitant fees they did not need to charge! They did not even tell you they were going to be taking large (or any) fees when they could have used another format that would have worked better for all concerned. It was just a rip off by taking advantage of a customer to collect more in fees. It really was NOT right! And when I called to talk about it, they played me off. High alert! Do Not Trust! (reminds me of Wells Fargo scam)

Terrible experience with changing my account from basic checking! I had an upgraded account with free atm fees which was something I find useful. Suddenly after COVID the account incurred fees. No one would admit they changed the criteria to needing a bill paid through the account or a direct deposit made into the account monthly. Subsequently, I went back to basic checking and I called once I had the bill pay set up and was told it would be done July 1, 2021. It has not changed and when I call for assistance they send me to the main customer care line. It was a bank associate who was assigned to make the changes. Just ask him. Leave him a message. Handle it at your branch. It's crazy to delay and wait when it can be resolved through an associate right there at the branch! For a "people's bank" that is seeking to compete with the larger banks with locations all around (Aquesta. Wells Fargo. Etc.) they don't put in any effort to provide customer care that's even average! Horrible! I will be switching as soon as I can - a mistake is one thing. But, to wait for resolution over a month is ridiculous!!!

I could possible receive better returns on my accounts at largerbanks but not better service. The employees at the branch on Hwy.150 are very professional and friendly.Two years ago my dog, a regular at the drive up window for 10-years,died. The bank employees signed and sent a sympathy card. A verytouching gesture.

Awful experience! I was lead to believe I would get a home equity loan on a home on 1 acre, future commercia with home on it in a very "hot" area in Sherrills Ford in walking distance to the new Villages at Sherrills Ford. I owe Nothing on this property. They went by sites like Zillow to determine worth which most know can be so far off and they told me that they would do a real appraisal which never happened. They also in their explanation said something was wrong with my credit. Then they show me my credit score is a 789 which is excellent! You can't make this up! Also an owner of a pretty profitable business. Huge waste of time!

Been banking here for about ten years. Wish I had banked here all my life. If you need a bank in your life, this is it. Peoples Bank lives up all the way to it's name by flying in the face of EVERYTHING most of us don't like about banks.

0 stars would be more appropriate. What a group of under trained unprofessional people at this branch. Laken or Lakeland, the CSR that set up our personal checking account entered our drivers license information incorrectly which prevented us from getting online banking. Almost 45 days later and half a dozen calls they still did not have the problem fixed and continued to charge us $30 at a time to transfer our own money from our savings account our checking account. Had the incompetence of the staff not occurred we could've logged on to our app and transfer the money between accounts at no charge, however the bank kept sending us overdraft transfer notices and per their agreement charged us every time they transferred money. They would not refund those fees when we asked so we just closed out our account and went to a local bank.

I just love going in there and greeted by the most friendliest and nicest women you could ask for. They know me by name and always ask about the kids. Its very refreshing and memorable when I think about good customer service. Thanks ladies
