We recently had a bad experience at Lowes. We have new windows and needed blinds. We had a Lowes send a contractor to measure our windows.Afterward we made several appointments for blinds. We found multiple errors in cost in favor of Lowes. My wife had to return to the store several times to fix the errors. Same blinds with escalated prices for no reason. We found the same brand and style blinds for half the cost at Lowes. The worst of the situation was the attempt to get the contractor to show up to do the work. We gave up after 3 appointment changes with 1 day notice. We gave up and returned the blinds which required us to pay a restock fee of $334.oo.It seemed that there was no interest in the customer after they pay for the service. Not their problem if the contractor is disorganized or does poor workGood riddance! We will do it ourselves.

I do not recommend Lowe’s. I ordered a vanity with mirror. Mirror did not arrive. I have been waiting over 6 weeks for them to get mirror for me. Managers will not talk directly to me. Assistant says they will call. They never do. How hard is it to update a customer?

If you have a delivery from Asheville NC be sure to stay with the delivery team because if they do damage to your property and you do not eye witness they are not responsible to repair any damage.

Lowes staff is caring and professional. Unfortunately, they should employ a better team in the installation process. Reliable services. Ruined our holiday, did damage to my home destroyed our opinion of lowes.

Purchased an expensive riding lawn mower with the belief that I would get my military discount. After my mower broke a spring one month after purchase I had to go through the president to finally send me a new spring. To protect their so called military discount they said they don't give this discount if the product is on sale. A simple way to trick soldiers into the purchase of the desired item. The military discount is worthless if it can't be used and made useful on all products at any sales price. I am a VFW member officer that finds this lack of professionalism very irritating. I will pass on this poor business to all military compodres as well as those who support us. Enough is enough.

went in to buy a refrigerator. told the salesperson what we wanted. after going through three potential options we finally found one in stock. hisense garage ready. we added an ice maker kit. got it home and ready to install to find out half of what we bought was not in the box. we then attempted to call the store but we either got no answer or an operator would answer and hang up (5 times). how this store stays in business is beyond me. I'd bet my bottom dollar service would be 100 times better if we had a home depot!

Like many on this site if I could give negative stars I would. A little over two years ago we purchased a very nice Pella 3 panel sliding door which comes with a lifetime guarantee (apparently Lowes installation guarantee is only 12 mos which makes no sense) This is where the nightmare began for us....it took nearly 6 months until someone actually came out and installed the door. After the install we noticed that the kicklock did not work and that the aluminum trim sloped towards the door which we were concerned about since it rains a lot in KY. We contacted the store and they said that they would send someone out. A Pella rep came out to our house and after 5 minutes told us that the door was installed incorrectly. They said that they would get back with the store and we would be hearing from Lowes soon. Since then we have made dozens of phone calls to the store, the warranty department, Pella, the original installer, etc. During that time I noticed that my hardwood floor is now warped because my brand new door is leaking, Every customer service rep I speak with gives me a different answer....after months I got to a point where the rep I was working with told me she had everything that she needed and they would be sending someone out to fix the door within the next couple of weeks.....after not hearing anything for weeks I called to get a status update and was told that I now needed to start all over again! I can't even express how frustrating this is and all the while my door continues to leak and do damage to my house.....DO NOT have Lowes install anything in your house.....they use incompetent subcontractors and their customer service is non-existent!Update: Since my initial review I have made 13 additional phone calls to Lowes (that's on top of the dozens of calls I made before I started keeping a log) and still do not have the issue resolved. Pella came out again and verified that the door was not installed properly and gave me a copy of the report.....all that I keep getting from Lowes is empty promises...will update again if/when the issue is resolved.Update: After sending a lengthy letter to the Lowe's corporate office an insurance adjuster reached out to us and quickly resolved the claim and cut us a check for our damages. Happy it is resolved but still disappointed in the amount of effort required to reach a resolution

Went to Lowe's in McComb, Ms with a friend to buy a hot water heater, bot of is are in our 60's. Asked 4 people for help and was repeatedly told it wasn't their department and they'd call someone. After waiting forever we found a broken handcart and pulled the appliance to the register ourselves. The employee monitoring the self check put stood and watched us pulling on this heavy thing. Did not offer help or anything. We checked ourselves out. Asked for at least someone to help load it. They called a stock boy who was clueless about how to load it. This is not the first time I've had issues similar to this. Next time we'll drive the extra 15 miles to Brookhaven and go to Home Depot. This was both embarrassing and ridiculous.

There’s a reason Lowes has a 1.5 star rating. I’m sure it would be lower if we could give negative stars. My husband and I have been Lowes customers for decades and just canceled our credit cards with them. Our experience in trying to get them to replace/repair a leaking roof that was under warranty was one of the biggest customer service nightmares we have ever endured. It was a maze of numerous calls, being switched to different departments and no one, including our local Lowes, would take responsibility. We have purchased thousands of materials through Lowes but no longer. I will not buy more than a potted plant from their store. We were horrified by their lack of service, continuously stalling to stand by their products and the intentional disregard of honoring the warranty.Shame on you Lowes!

I personally have never had any problems with this company and have generally made Lowe's my primary go to for a hardware store. My only issue is that they choose to be affiliated with Synchrony Bank for their store credit cards and due to a letter from said institution, I have chosen to close my account. My APR was going to be raised to an unheard of 31.99% despite no changes to my good credit to warrant such and a monthly fee would be imposed just to receive a paper copy of my statement for my own records. As long as Lowe's chooses to use Synchrony, I have less incentive to give my business to them and not a competitor.

Lowes has gone downhill with poor customer service and my local store in Cape Coral, Florida (Store 2361) and the installation group are major reasons why. I had requested an appointment to schedule a consult for replacing a sliding door and after one missed appointment and lots of excuses the sales rep, Eileen came out in early January 2023. She did the rough measurements and gave me a quote that I accepted. The door took a while to arrive but I was understanding because of supply chain issues. Finally I received a call to schedule installation and the installers showed up but there was no door because the store and customer service never delivered it or properly coordinated this. After more waiting the door and the installers arrived and the door looked used. It was scratched on both panels and the handle/lock assemblies were both bent. After multiple requests it took them nearly two months to just come out and inspect. It was determined that the whole door needed to be replaced, this was in July of 2023. Time went by and I made repeated requests to get the ETA only to find out the door was never reordered. They finally ordered it in September of 2023 and the replacement door arrived in late November 2023 but is not able to be installed until late January of 2024. In October of 2023 I reached to Eileen Moore for a simple request of a copy of the original contract and it was ignored. In early November I reached out to Amy Walters (Project Support Professional) expressing my growing frustration and that was ignored as well. On December 5th I received a call from customer service to schedule the delivery and asked the person why the long wait. He let me know that Eileen Moore is only sales and is not required to follow up and that Amy Walters email box receives thousands of emails so I should have not expected a response. So essentially there is no or very little customer service once they have your money. The delivery and installation of the replacement door was scheduled and I took time off from work to be there and it did not show up again. When I called, I was only told that it would take them two business days to figure out what went wrong with the missed appointment and that there would be no reimbursement for the two vacation days I used to wait for the door that didn't show up. The people at Home Depot can thank Lowes for my business going forward and hopefully they will now how to treat customers.Edit: After speaking with Sherry (ID - 1896894) in Customer Care I thought there was hope of a resolution but after a half an hour of time on the phone she informed me that she could do no more than document my complaint and advised me to continue trying the normal channels of communication with the same people that have not been effective thus far. This company has lost touch with customer service when it comes to handling their own mistakes.
