I had 1 1/2 hour to wait before Big Daddys Restaurant opened. So I went looking at Home God's to waste time. No intention buying anything. Left there with over 100 dollars. Love this store. Never know what you'll find.

I went in today to check for the viral, Halloween ghost blanket. I am not a re-seller. Just a girl trying to buy a blanket for my home and for my best friend.
They were unboxing a lot of items. I was NOT STANDING THERE AND STARING, I shopped around the store while I waiting for them to unbox what they had.
When I walked by again, I asked a couple other employees if they have seen the blanket. The manager(blonde hair) unboxing the boxes with the employees was super rude, “WE HAVE A LOT OF BOXES AND WE DON’T HAVE ANYTHING IN THE BACK.” Like lady please, did I accuse you of that? After I calmly explained I was just looking for the blanket for my best friend and I, she just stared with the ugliest look. She was so rude.
Like lady, calm down. I worked retail too and had truck days. I worked with customers waiting for items to be unboxed too. I, unlike this woman, CHOSE TO BE A NICE EMPLOYEE and have good customer service with customers who were nice and respectful.

Love going to Home Goods. Frequent turnover of goods so never experince " stale" selections. Easy location w/ ample parking. Stays busy. Great store hours. Very popular during the holiday season.

This is a wonderful place for decoration. Every season, they change the decore they sell. They have wall decoration such as mirrors and lamps. Stuff for your pet and even kitchen.

I went to this store for the first time with my girlfriend and was SO disappointed on how we were both treated. The store itself was very nice but the staff was unbelievable. People of color BEWARE! We decided to go to the store in Afton Village and i regret it. The manager and staff looked at us as if we were stealing . My girlfriend spent over $300.00 in this store. She bought 3 rugs that she had already paid for as she was going to the front of the store I waited at the door with my things because I still was shopping and I wanted to see if we were going to have enough room in her truck for my things. One of the associates came up to me and said are the rugs paid for and i said yes we were waiting for some help to put them in the truck, next thing you know the associate called the manager and 2 other associates to the front and start making comments. The manager said jokingly (it looks as if we have a situation at the front in which I didnt find what he said amusing. I told my girlfriend to put back what she had purchased and let's go to another store. She really wanted her things after being in the store for 2 hours looking for her items. I hope the general manager reads this because this has to STOP! People of color should not be always targeted at stores. It's just so unfair.

Ive only been there once and it was a couple of days before Christmas so the selection was not as great as I expected. However, my sister has some cookware and other items that are very nice and she got them well below retail. I can't wait to go back again when not so busy and selection is better.

While this is a nice store, and they usually have a decent selection if you are in a hurry do not expect to get in and out. I have never seen more than two cashiers and waited in line 20 minutes to check out in the past. The girl that checked me out today was miserable and didn't say a word to me. This is the norm and that's on the managers who are working aside them. I worked retail for many years. It's unacceptable if you want repeat customers.
