I am someone who absolutely hates grocery shopping. The few times I have, I always go to this Harris Teeter! Glenn and Libby give 5-star service to the customers and truly treat everyone like a VIP!

I went there yesterday to rent a rug doctor with the upholstery tool because I’m 9 months pregnant and want my home to be spotless for when the baby arrives. The employees helping at the time seemed overwhelmed and lost when we got to them with the request, which I totally understand, it was Sunday and maybe they we’re having a crazy day.
I got home and found out that the upholstery tool wasn’t working at all, so I couldn’t use it. Then the carpet cleaner was so dirty that the brush roll wasn’t even tuning, so I had to spend a whole hour cleaning someone else’s hair/dirt to be able to use something I was paying for :( the tank had black water that smelled like sewage, it made me throw up but I had to wash it to be able to use it. I made sure that once I was able to use it, I cleaned everything before returning so the next person wouldn’t have to go through what I did. My husband explained the situation upon returning, showing pictures and letting them know that the upholstery tool was not working therefore it couldn’t be used (hoping for a refund on the extra fee for the tool). They acted completely dismissive to the complaint and didn’t do anything about it. We shouldn’t have paid for something that wasn’t working, but at least an apology would’ve been appreciated. The pictures attached are the before I cleaned the machine so it would function properly

turnover rate is crazy high :(the chocolate chip cookies CAN be good if theyre not overbaked (most of the time they are, unfortunately)the creme/raspeberry filled donuts however are actually really good and likely the staple of my experience here (from the display by the bakery, not the packaged ones)anyways final opinion: donuts, parfaits, & HT raspberry lemonade is good more often than not. THE SUBS ARE AMAZING! everything else, however, is questionable (do not step foot in the bathrooms).SHOUTOUT TO MADI M & DEBRA (& the dearly departed Bradley H.) FOR BEING QUITE POSSIBLY THE REALEST FRONT END EMPLOYEES THERE!!!!!!!!!honorable shoutout to ME, for working through an ENTIRE management overhaul/change & at least 20 cashiers/clerks.final shoutout to ava lamy, for being cool as well.solid 3 star reviewsigned,#1 HT cashier (the one with the hat) <3

Me and my husband went to the Harris teeter on 10/25/23 at about 10:42pm we were followed from time we walk in the store by a wannabe security guard that worked at Harris older white bald Head guy I believe he was doing it because we were black he probably would have shot us for just trying to buy late night snacks please if you are black be careful the ones he should be looking at he's not they harassing innocent people it wouldnt happen if we were white because he would have gotten cussed out you will never get my business and you will lose more business over this... idiot

Great customer service at this location. I had an employee in the deli area help me out early in the morning. I believe her name was Edie (sp?). She really went out of her way to help me out. Very much appreciated.

This store was out of the particular item we wanted and the store manager Rob offered to call the next closest Harris Teeter to make sure they had the item we were looking for before we drove over there! Thanks so much Rob!

Too crazy expensive!!! and what is wrong with employees today. On their phone with there headphones in and not paying attention when you’re shopping. They’ve forgotten what customer service is and that the customers have the right of way moving about the store. Just frustrating and awful. Management needs to teach these kids how to act in an appropriate manner. Walmart pricing in MUCH better!
