This place replaced my brakes and rotors working the last couple of months. Ever since they replaced them they have made a squeaking noise whenever I brake the car. I took it in this Saturday to have them resolve the issue. They told me the tech took them apart and cleaned them etc. They have no idea why they’re making a pound squeaking noise. The brakes are still making the noise so they didn’t resolve the issue that they created. I guess I’ll have to pay somewhere else to figure out what they did wrong.

Super experience on a Sunday morning at Mavis Tires in Mooresville. I made an 11am appt, since thankfully they were open on a Sunday! Rodney was incredibly helpful at the front desk, I explained the problem that I had low PSI in one tire so thought it was a slow leak & he said it could be related to the weather. In the end, I only waited perhaps 20 min then he let me know the tires were fine & they improved the PSI for all the tires to handle the cold weather! Great service and I really appreciate the honest assessment since I expected to pay for at least two new tires! I will definitely go back when we are ready to replace our tires! So I would highly recommend, and thanks Rodney!

Today I took my vehicle to Mavis to get an alignment and have my vehicle looked over in preparation for a very long road trip. They addressed my areas of concern in a timely matter and informed me that I didn’t actually need an alignment. I appreciate the honesty and not completing an unnecessary service for the sake of making money. I will most definitely recommend them to friends and family! Honesty is hard to come by these days. Much appreciated!

Excellent service! Thought I needed brakes replaced but they looked at them and told me I had a lot of life left in them (more than 50% left) and didn't charge me for looking at them. I had another company wanting to replace brakes and rotors for $900. I'd highly recommend for an honest assessment.

The customer service is top notch! I had them replace a TPMS sensor on a tire that had minor damage that Sam's Club would not touch. The tires still had over 50% tread left. I had no warranty on the tires as i boughtvtye car used. They replaced the sensor for approximately $35. This saved me a lot of $$$$! Thanks so much for listening to my situation and helping me resolve! Will definitely come back for future needs and will spread the work to my friends and family!

Great experience. We had a nail in a tire causing a flat and a completely locked up lug. Both myself and roadside service could not get the tire off to put the spare on so roadside service towed the car to this Mavis location. Pleasant and competent staff had the locked up lug removed and the trie patched in an hour for less than $50. It was a great experience to an otherwise frustrating afternoon. Great spot!

“30 year experience tech” told me I needed to spend 1400$ on pads,rotors, and tires to fix my spongy brakes. When I got there to pick my car up Michael apparently got the price to 1200…little suspicious. When we told Michael we are taking it somewhere else he chuckled and said I know what I’m doing. Cool I’m not paying 1400$ for an item that won’t fix my car Michael. My car wasn’t ready for pickup and when they brought it around the tech hop out of my car smelling like he just put out a cigarette, I got in my car and it smells like he smoked in my car and there is ash on my console! I took it to another shop and they told me my car was deemed UNSAFE TO DRIVE!! My abs module was leaking and that all my pads, rotors, and calipers are excellent and working properly. Not only did you guys try to make me pay an outstanding amount for an issue that wasn’t even the issue and then smoke in my car and disrespect my property when I trusted you with it. Scammers at this place and the “30 year tech” has no respect for peoples cars.

Going into any kind of shop as a girl is very overwhelming since they always try to upswell you. Mavis made it extremely easy. I ordered my tires on Amazon and made an appointment. I arrived and checked in. They took my car back immediately. They spoke with me about recommendations and I told them I wanted the tires on the back only and to not do anything else. The guys up front honored my decision and did just that. I was in and out in 25 minutes. I will continue going here since the tires were a competitive and affordable price and they got me in and out quickly. Way better than discount tire!!

I typically enjoy coming to the Mooresville Mavis location for my basic services, until today. Although the staff is very friendly, I brought my regular Hyundai in for a few things including an oil change. They decided to put full synthetic oil into my car without asking me if that was ok, not to mention that alone was $76. The type of car that I have does not require synthetic oil to function better, especially considering it is still a newer car. I just wish they would have asked, because now the smart thing to do is continue adding full synthetic oil, which is a decision that requires larger charges from now on when I get an oil change, and I did not want to make these changes.

The Intital service was great. I got 4 tires. I was loosing air in my left rear tire. It was a slow leak. The last 4 Saturday I would take to them and they couldn't fine anything wrong. I took it to someone to else answer couldn't fine my lock to my wheels and while they had it they found that 2 valve stems not fully in and a piece of small wire sticking out. These guys are not taking the time to make sure everything is done properly. They are just sticking it a dunk tank in hopes they fine bubbles coming up. Sometimes you have to take extra time to fine the cause. The worst part is that every time my husband went up there he got attitude from the counter person. This is unexceptable. I dished out alot of money for these tires and service. I do expect kindness.

My wife took her car there to have someone to look at her tire. She told the guy it had something stuck in the edge of the tire. The guy wouldn't even go look at the tire. He told her she would have to buy a new tire. She called me and she took it to one of your competitors. They were very nice and look at the tire. The piece of metal wasn't even stuck completely through the tire. The gentleman there pulled it out. No charge. They now have a new customer. Glad to know we still have some honest people around.

Horrible experience on my first trip there. Nothing but rude and arrogant employees. Told me it would take an hour just to change 4 tires and it took almost 2.5 hours. Watched the guy who checked in at the same time get 4 tires and alignment and was out of there in 1 hour. Told me that I needed to sit down and not stand in their lobby. Was laughed at when asked how much longer it would take. No customer service training on how to treat customers. I was told not to have an attitude after asking for a simple discount because it took twice as long as they said. Was told to go somewhere else while they had my truck in their bay working on it even Told me to leave and not come back if i didnt like how they was doing it. Told me after the service was done and they was paid that they would give me my truck back when they felt like it because I told them they was slow. An employee even wanted to fight me. Will never go back and will always trash this place when speaking about tire places. Will never recommend to go there.

Super fast & extremely friendly. Rodney up front was super helpful when I came in because I needed to get an inspection done and within 45 minutes and no appointment I was in and out. I definitely recommend coming here for sure.
