Did not need them AFTER four other help sites. HP, MICROSOFT, SPECTRUM, GEEK online....my daughter fixed the problem I have dealt with on a new HP for 2 months by turning off airplane mode!

I love geek squad! I have had to take my computer's in many times. Since I always buy the extended warranty I have never had to pay anything....... and believe me I've gotten my money's worth. It covers 3 computers and it's well worth it. Making appts is easy and usually same day. I also love geek squad for the appliances I buy!! They quickly come out and repaired the products. If they can't repair it they give you full credit towards a new appliance.

While my experiences have been up and down over the years, with Dan Verley doing the work in the backroom as he is now, and the desk staff being competent and professional as well, my experience was excellent and the coverage you get for their geek squad plan is tough to beat. It is also convenient as they have longer hours than most technicians in the industry.

If I could give them zero stars I would!! Bought my laptop here 6 months ago and it sustained damage. I took it to Geek Squad for a repair estimate. They stated that it would be sent off for an estimate and that I would not be charged for the diagnostic as it was under the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer called to say that to repair the laptop would be more than what I paid for it. When I went to pick it up at Geek Squad, they wanted to charge me a $90 diagnostic fee! I was lied to by the Geek Squad agent when he said there would be no charge to have it diagnosed. DO NOT take your computer to Geek Squad for repair!!
