Where do I begin? First off, they are thieves, and they will rob you blind. I made an appointment with Jacqueline to touch up my roots, and nothing more. She said to me, that my hair needed to be highlighted. It already was highlighted. I should’ve got up and walked away. First off, she is not highly skilled. Two, they stole money from me and did not perform the services needed. I will document with pictures down below. Nightmare began when I got home that afternoon. The salon is old, poor lighting, chairs without bars, so your legs are left hanging, not clean, shampoo bar that is old from the 70s. I should’ve left. She kept tugging on my hair. Her skill level (Jacqueline ) is zero. As for the owner, when I reached out to her, she told me that services are not free. That will be in pictures below. When I got home, I realized that every highlight that I had was gone, I had black gunk under my neck, my hair was 10 different colors. Jaqueline charged me $218.00. That’s right folks, I have the receipt to prove it. All the charges were custom. I didn’t even know what to say. When I got home, I rinsed everything off underneath my neck area. I blew out my hair properly as she did not do that either. She said she cut my hair, that did not happen either. I do not know any salon in Charlotte that would charge $218.00 for color and a cut. I will be placing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with the police department. It was highway robbery.When I reached out this morning, I sent pictures only to realize, that the owner was in the Bahamas with her boyfriend, and the hairstylist who damaged my hair was sending me texts back. This after the receptionist told me that she was not in until Monday. My hair was green, white, red, and black. I did reach out to American Express and explained what had happened. Salons always have set prices. She made up all these custom prices, and they even charge a service fee. It is literally insane how crooked and mismanaged by the owner Amber.She was unwilling to meet with me, correct what was done, and even though I sent twelve pictures, the staff had the audacity to pretend they were her. Jacqueline said to me that she gets commission. I even gave her an opportunity to be honest. She blew out my hair, and at that point she should’ve known the damage she did, and that the color and the bleach use did not produce what I asked her for.Again, I came in for roots. To know a salon is charging $218 for color and a cut, Should be close down and you should fire your employees. There is an old saying, while the cat is the way the mouse will play. Amber, I hope that you see this and see the words of your employees. They abuse their position and they abuse somebody who is disabled. You stole money from me and that is not OK. My hair was so bad, I had to go to another shop. She used so much bleach on my hair and she damage my hair.I have demarcation lines all over my scalp. The back of my hair was black. My advice to you, is return the money. To tell a customer, that you will not be offering a correction service, offering to meet with me, and to see the damage she did, and have three of your employees sending me horrible messages, and not excepting responsibility, is quite disgusting. I will be sending all those messages to American Express. I spent $300 today correcting what your Jackelyn did. She destroy my hair!!!!

Have been to this blo bar at least 10 times. Quality blow out each time & the finished result always look great for any event! Thank you!

I went for a blo out and it was just okay compared to other blo bars. Quick shampoo and the end result was nice, but not what I had asked for.

I've moved to NC a year ago and been having trouble with countless hair salons in the past.I posted a recommendation in a group and Jacqulyn replied that she could fix my hair aftera failed attempt from a previous salon. I thought why not give it a shot. She was extremely nice, honesty and caring as she explained what needed to be done. Definitely put my mind at ease about everything and did a fantastic job. Definitely went above and beyond to fix my hair.

Caitlin DID that!!!! I’ve been wanting a cut and a new color so bad! I’m always super nervous letting a new person touch my hair but Caitlin made me feel so secure and beautiful the whole time!!! I’ll definitely be back!!!!

Absolutely love the work Caitlin does!! It was a wonderful experience all around. She got me the perfect blonde and sent me home with the products I need to keep it in great condition. It was a very professional environment but fun at the same time! Will definitely be going back and looking forward to trying some new services like spray tanning!!

I had the best experience at Couture Blo Bar! Caitlyn did such a good job and was so nice. I was nervous about going darker but I trusted her and she didn’t disappoint. She even recommended the perfect products to keep my hair looking fresh and shiny...which also smell amazing by the way. She will definitely be doing my hair from now on!!

Caitlin is one of the best hairstylists at this salon. She is super sweet and is the only person who I trust with my hair. She is the only hair stylist who has gotten me to my hair goal, and I would definitely recommend seeing Caitlin to anyone! Also, the salon is gorgeous with beautiful decorations and all the ladies make you feel welcomed. :)

I have been going to Caitlin for quite some time now, and I am always beyond satisfied with her work! With the many times she has colored and done my hair, she always gives me exactly what I want. The salon is pristine and has a great atmosphere! I have recommended all of my friends and they love Caitlin and the salon just as much as I do!

ALL of the employees are so friendly and caring and make you feel comfortable, Caitlin does my hair and has been doing my hair for years!!! She always gives me exactly what I want and MORE! She will make your hair goals come true!!

Caitlin did my hair and I absolutely love it! I wanted to go more blonde but keep my roots dark and I showed her a couple pictures and she nailed it. She is so sweet and I feel like we became close just in the 3 hours that I was there! I 100% recommend going to her!

i recently went to caitlin for a color correction/cut after letting a friend bleach my hair in quarantine... i wanted a mushroom brown with some lighter ashy highlights for dimension due to having wavy hair. i have went to several salons failing to find someone that i actually liked and did exactly what i want. well, i found her! i have never been more happy with my color/cut and would recommend her to anyone! i will never let anyone else touch my hair other than caitlin at this point! book with her!
