I found this car online through cargurus and worked with Alex to secure it. I was nervous about buying a car online but he made the process very easy and was always polite and timely. He also provided a good recommendation for transport and was able to lower my payment a little. I would trust him again.

I had a great experience with Carolina Family Motors! I worked with Paige throughout the process. She was friendly and very helpful! While working with this dealer, I never felt pressured to sign on the line quickly, which was a nice feeling that I could take my time to decide on my purchase. The paperwork process was super simple as well. Overall, had a great experience and would recommend working with Carolina Family Motors!

I am 100% thrilled with my purchase experience. Each person I interacted with at CFM was helpful and kind. I believe these are very honest people and not dishonest in any way. Hard to find in a car sale situation. My friend's sister has bought several cars from this dealership and that says a lot. I will recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for a car. I am so happy with the car I purchased.

If I could rate this place a 0 stars I 1000% would! Brian is a horrible business man! I bought a vehicle from them close to a month later piece from the vehicle were falling off while on the Highway and broken, the windshield was replaced and the side attachment were repaired the most cheapest way possible!! also issues with the electronic parts “radio, usb plug in and navigation card of the vehicle worked for a week and stopped working!! He act like he had no clue about the situation and told me that the brand of the car “ford” was responsible for fixing it, after I purchased the vehicle from THEM not Ford! He was all about helping and fixing any situation when you’re sitting there in front of them and after you drive off the Lot he is a disgusting, disrespectful individual and it’s your problem not his!! Was not helpful at all he decided to argue back and forth rather than to help the situation !! They cover up the issue with the cars and make it sound good once you find out there’s nothing they can do to help! Someone who wants to provide reliable trusting cars turns out to be a SCAM and a liar!! You definitely want remain a good look after situations like this!! I’m definitely going to look further into the situation on my end to set him straight in selling vehicles this way!! You do not talk to people that way and you don’t handle situations the way he did!! I would NOT recommend this place to NO ONE!!

i bought a 2013 veloster & i had the car for literally 30 days & there is a knock in the engine & they told me “once your drive off the lot the car is your problem” so unprofessional & so rude.

I am very disappointed with my purchase from Carolina Family Motors. I bought a VW Tiguan here, and it started having problems within the first week of ownership. I had to take the car into the shop four separate times in the first two months after purchase. The Tiguan had extensive internal oil leaks that damaged the engine- not a cheap fix. Additionally, there was a coolant leak and a broken AC fan. To top it off, I found dried dog food between the back seats when I vacuumed the car for the first time.
Despite the good reviews I saw about this dealership and the seemingly good condition of the car on the outside, it has been nothing but trouble. Something I wouldn't expect right away when buying from what I thought would have been a trustworthy dealership. Definitely take this review into consideration when looking at cars here.

My son bought a car from this company just 29 days ago. The motor is more than likely shot and when we called to find out the policy because they told us that if anything were to go wrong before the extended warranty waiting period that they pride themselves at always helping their customers with any issues with their cars because “they stand by their word that they sell good cars to their community”. Well I just called and they said “nope, we offer an extended warranty. Once you drive it off the lot that is your car”. Completely different sounding person than the person that we bought it from but it was the exact same person. Brian went from caring and wanting to help my son to get a reliable car to “it’s not our problem now” behavior on the phone. So please don’t use this company if you want a reliable company that stands by their word because you won’t get what their word or their dignity. It’s all a sham to sell cars and to take advantage of people in a bind.

Beware of spot delivery from this dealer. Make sure you ask if you sign any paperwork detailing any terms of monthly payment and interest rate if this is your final contract. Ask if the loan has already been approved and underwriitten and the deal.ia set In stone or they may come back and tell you the underwriting has been denied and the contract you signed the day you drove off in the car is invalid and has to.be redone

Should've done my homework just a little more however standing on good business as small dealership should be important. Before I filled out any credit app I made it very clear that I do not want my credit ran thru a certain bank due to the fact that I had an ongoing legal situation with them. Just like that I get a notice in the mail stating that they ran my credit thru the same bank I told them not to. I called to see what happened and would you believe they put it as another bank used that bank to see if the app goes thru ? Now I got to see where that lawsuit stands and if it's a problem with it this dealership will be hearing from my Lawyer. Got all the text messages to prove it as well. Let's get into the car for a second. WARNING FOLKS! LOOK AT THE PAINT ON THE CAR THESE CARS WOULD PROBABLY HAVE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. I got paint issues, no rear defroster, which in the summer and test driving it during the day wouldn't have noticed it, as well as my axels are busted which again I should've test drove it with the windows down in the 80 degree heat to hear it. Folks!!! Please please make sure you get someone to check these cars out before you buy them otherwise you get left holding the bag. Never again, they made me a firm believer on making sure I never do business with a small dealership again.
