Not sure if this is an overzealous team of employees that are eager to assist or they are trained to follow people around the store. I never feel relaxed going to this Best Buy. Many times I've left this store and gone to another electronic store just to buy the same item. I don't feel like I have the freedom to browse without someone hovering around.

Joseph was a great help in selecting a router today. I am not knowledgeable in that area and he was. He patiently explained the ins and outs to me. Great service!

When I stepped in my initial reaction was 'how small this store is." After wandering thru store looking for section with what I wanted, I finally found it. No floor help in sight. Shocked at how small the selection / specific section was. But hey, if you have time they can order it. But then you would have to know specifically what you want. And the ordering can be done on their website. Problem is, that is why I visited store. I do not like to blindly "order" electronics. I was hoping that staff could answer questions and make me better informed and help make me a decision. No luck! Discouraged with no floor help and practically no selection(s) I left the store. Later that day bought what I wanted elsewhere.

Software purchasers beware! Best Buy Mooresville has been my go to store for al computers, TVs, routers, printers, smart phones and google home products.For decades have received excellent service in store, with home installations, or needed Geek Squad service. A week ago I purchased a new laptop and prior to purchase asked by phone on arecommended transfer cable. Based on suggestions I ordered the HP computer and recommended PC mover cable online for pick up. After unpacking the computer and opening box for the transfer cable I noted the cable would neither fit my current HP or new HP laptops. The end fittings were made to fit in much older models, and therefore never used. I was refused a return on the item, stating their policy is never to refund on software items. I was advised I would need to contact the Manufacturer to discuss any refund!! This certainly is not stated as such on a google search, so Best Buy needs to upgrade their information. $40 will not bankrupt me but I will not be purchasing software products in future from Best Buy. I was also there to buy new Samsung TV, but definitely had second thoughts on that purchase after this experience.

Don't listen to Geek Squad! Told me my Surface had no hope, no way to get files off of it, couldn't even turn it on and I should just recycle it. Took it to a local IT guy who pushed the volume down but and power button and turned it on! Was able to recover all of my file and now I have a usable backup computer.
