Several pharmacy staff members need to be retrained. No eye contact, no greetings, no explanations for general questions, no information, name badge turned so you can't see their names. They are the front line for the drugs you put in your body. Shameful.

How can you call and tell somebody that prescription is ready they go to pick it up and the pharmacy is closed in the middle of the day. They're not at lunch either

We recently moved to the area and were transferring our prescriptions to this location, but after one visit my experience was so bad that we immediately transferred them to a different Walgreens instead! The woman working at the pharmacy desk was SO rude and had a very negative attitude. I went to pick up my husband's Rx and when she said it wasn't at that location, I was a little shocked because his doctor had ensured it would be sent to the correct new pharmacy. So my response was a slightly surprised "oh, really?" and she snapped back with "Um yeah. You don't come here." I think she believed I just showed up to a random pharmacy to get this prescription? I have no clue. I tried to laugh it off and explain that yes we just moved to the area so we are now going to be coming here. But she continued to be extremely rude, dismissive, and talked to me like I was a total idiot. No one should have to put up with that! I would steer clear of this location.

I switched to CVS and have had no issues. I was diagnosed with acute cellulitis this past Friday and my physician, after receiving an antibiotic injection in the office, called my Antibiotic script Into Walgreens. Unable to drive from pain, I paid $9 for same day delivery . Today is Sunday. I called to see why my Antibiotics have not been delivered and the phone girl told me if it was that important I would have picked them up. Are you kidding me??? Never again. I will make certain prescriptions are not sent to Walgreens.
Previously 3 years ago:
This Walgreens is so inadequate. They are routinely out of stock of medications. They say they are on order and will be in stock the next day BUT they have yet to get several of my medications in until I call several times and wait a week. This occurs every month on at least 3 of my medications. I've used Walgreens for almost 20 years but since moving to Monroe 2 years ago and started using this particular store I'm just fed up. It's a Hassle to change pharmacies but I will be changing to another chain.

Very disappointed in the price gouging of prescriptions. Medications not in stock, not filled together, insurance not accepted. Staff not helpful, and rude. Extremely slow service and long wait lines. Will be using different pharmacy from now on.

People are very hard to work with, made me pay for a medication that my health insurance cover it, and never calls back to let us know when the medication was ready. Because of it In changed my family’s Pharmacy. When I explain everything to them , they just asked what is your new pharmacy? So they pretty sure don't care about you being a customer. After all I got all my medication super cheaper in another local pharmacy. So having a hard time with Walgreens ended well for my family

Item says in stock but when I arrive it's not on the shelf searching stockroom of course wasn't offered. Ordered the item for pickup waited around for 30 mins to get the text saying order is delayed. Then on my way home it's ready and had to turn around. What a pain for something really simple.

I went to this Walgreen's in Monroe to get my first of the two Shingles vaccine injections. I had to wait about 15 minutes so had time to observe the staff. What I saw was polite, efficient and very busy pharmacy staff. I did not witness any rudeness. Derrick (I assume he was the pharmacist) was in charge of giving me my vaccine. He took the time to greet me, go over what I might experience with side effects and was very friendly and personable. I really could not ask for a better experience and hope that my 2nd shot will go as well.

Pharmacy is awful. They’re extremely rude and make countless errors. I truly don’t understand how they still legally operate. I’ve report them to BBB for their unethical practices.

Kimberly in photos was AMAZING. We had a horrible experience in another store, she helped so much and was sincere about the situation.

I spoke with a pharmacist by the name of Derrick & his tone was extremely genuine & caring & i just wanted to leave a review in regards to the encounter. You never know what type of day someone is having & he honestly made mine !

Sad to readjust the review from 5 years ago, but perhaps this will serve as a warning or indication to change. The technological aspect of Walgreens is behind the times. They use old tech, inaccurate prescription refill times via phone, and inexperienced youth. A recipe for disaster! Tailor the phone Rx refill option to match when the prescription is due. The public won't keep track! Drove all the way out after supposed confirmation from the phone only to drive up to be told the Rx won't be due for another week! This is how you lose customers.........and even a fan.
