About Union County NC Chamber
The Union County Chamber is the largest and oldest business association in the region surrounding Charlotte. Established in 1935, it started as the Monroe Merchants Association and experienced several name changes before becoming the Union County Chamber of Commerce in 1993. Through the years, its purpose has remained unchanged – to serve the needs of the business community. The Union County Chamber is a 501c6 nonprofit business association governed by a 24-member Board of Directors. It currently has a seven-person staff, led by President Pat Kahle.
