By far one of the worst banks I have experienced. Within just 2 weeks of having the account My money was lost charges were showing up a randomly throughout the week and the bank says that's completely normal. I have deposited cash inside a bank and it not show up for 48 hours later when they finally decide to process. When you try and discuss some of these issues with the bank they say oh it's not then it must be the merchant that the card was charged from but any other bank I have used those merchants have pulled immediately now all of a sudden I use a different bank and suddenly the merchants doing something different? I don't think so. I've called this branch specifically to ask about a $200 checking bonus that was eligible to me when I opened the account, and when you call the branch to ask they have no idea what you're talking about. I ended up calling a different branch completely trying to get the information I needed versus my local branch. When I've tried to visit this branch in person and go inside there can be countless bankers working inside the bank but feel the need to only staff one person at the teller line with a line of three or more customers standing there with no help. In trying to close my account It has taken five long frustrating attempts to get them to process my account closure. First it was Well if you close it today we're going to charge you $25 because you haven't had it open long enough which they never bothered to disclose to me in the first place.. The minimum account. Has passed and I try and close the account again to which my account is already zeroed out completely and has been for a while. They found it necessary to add a penny to my account which for a second time prevented me from closing the account because oh well you need to withdraw the money and have a zeroed out We can't do anything until you take care of that and the pending transactions. It's ridiculous a penny just keep the damn thing It's not worth the stress you are causing me. I've even asked them to put an alert on my account to lay it the bankers or customer service agents know I have autism which affects my understanding.. No I couldn't do that I would have to go and branch and see if I qualified to have that put on my account. Which has caused tension between the bank and I because y'all don't want to care about a customer y'all just see a money sign. They are not a participant in zelle though they claim to be. All in all I would recommend this bank as your last choice from the few I have tried

Watch out for the confused man in the back also, the little old lady in the front rude judgmental, not friendly at all don’t know how this bank has five stars!

fabulous customer service. The individual branches make it a point to get to you know on a first name basis and they don’t hold your money like many banks do if they’ve gotten to know you. Had an issue today and they called me after hours to make sure it was handled. You simply put, will not find this type of customer service at many banks....it’s rare. This particular branch in Monroe is amazing
