Monroe Hardware Company is a good, well-stocked store with a wide variety of products. It is a great alternative to big box stores, often having the unique, odd, and end pieces that are hard to find anywhere else. The store almost always has what customers need, from insulation and bolts to specific items like Sevin with 5% Carbaryl and vegetable seedlings. If they do not have an item, they are happy to direct customers elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and possesses helpful expertise, knowing what needs to be done for various projects.
Good store. They almost always have what you need. If they don't, they have no problem telling you where else to go to find it.

They have what I need (and sometimes what I need is unique) and they also have the expertise to know what needs to be done (that big box stores don't always have.)

They carry the Sevin product with. 5% Carbaryl, which is hard to find these days. They also have the Carbaryl 5% which is a couple dollars less than Sevin. They have a have a good selection of product. Very well stocked
