Yesterday I met with Burt Humphries and he spent over 2.5 hrs with me. I scheduled an appointment because I have been having painful sciatica. Burt took time to hear my concerns and fit and evaluate my needs. I ended up coming home with Birkenstock sandals and APEX sneakers. I also purchased two other pair which he still needs to customize for my needs. I wore the sneakers home and the Birkenstock all evening and this morning. I do notice a difference already and my sciatica is definitely less painful. Thank you Burt Humphries for your time. You truly care and want to help!!

Burt really helped me today I’ve been in pain for some years now. But the past year it’s been awful I went to the foot doctor and no relief, I was giving up. Ive seen this place on Facebook and had to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! He told me more about my feet issues than the doctor did! Plus he is helping fix the issue long term! As soon as I put on my inserts that are personalized for me I felt like I was walking on pillows literally. These shoes are so amazing and got me some house shoes that he personalized for my feet aswell. I’m so thankful for this place it’s a true game changer!

Plantar fasciitis was ruining my life and now I can stay on my feet all day long! I had tried everything, Burt is my hero.
He explained what was causing the pain and set me up with quality shoes, customized to support my feet and let them heal.
Once I'm finished with the prescribed regimen for healing, I plan to bring all of my shoes to Burt for custom insoles.
They also have a great selection of quality shoes. I grabbed a pair of sandals for my mom (who also has terrible feet) and she loves them.

Pedorthist Burt Humphrey customizes and alters high quality shoes. He can get the most challenging foot into a supportive, comfortable shoe. It may be pricey, but worth it.

Thank You Burt! You got me all fixed up with my Morton’s Neuroma. New custom orthotics, sneakers and Birkenstock shoes. Burt was extremely helpful and took his time to listen to me and explained exactly what was happening to my feet.I would highly recommend Monroe Family Shoe Center!!They Also has a nice selection of shoes.

My son had to try on six pair of shoes before he found a comfortable shoe for his size 15 / 5e foot. Bert, the owner, was more than patient with him. The customer service we received reminded me of the type of shoe stores my mother used to take me to back in the 60s. The type where a person actually came from behind a desk to measure your feet, and assist you finding a properly fitted piece of footwear. I hope this shoe store will be around for many years to come or passed down to another generation of people that provide the same quality of service to their customers. It was worth the hour drive to get the store.Thanks Bert!

I had the pleasure of spending some time at Monroe’s Family Shoe Center last week. The folks were very helpful and professional, and worked to get me the right combination of shoes and inner soles to address my issues. I highly recommend them!
