If no stars were available that is what I would choose. I walked in with our reservation for a truck and was yelled at that I need to contact Budget. I called Budget from my car and the person at this Shell Station would not even answer the call from Budget. Rude and completely unprofessional! I will update if my card gets charged.

Atttempted numerous phone calls to alert after hour delivery due to tropical storm. Dropped or hang ups and several no answers. Had to drop truck without instructions for key or turn over details.

Week ahead I requested a day off work to move! When I came they didn’t have my truck! And I couldn’t move that day because none had anything available?UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I do not recommend!

-0 stars for this place. Reserved our truck A WEEK AHEAD! Came to pick it up to find out they simple don’t have the truck. No phone call to tell us this NOTHING. The most UNPROFESSIONAL/DISRESPECTFUL rental place. *note for the owner* if you don’t frikin know how to run a business then give it up or go thru training of how to simple give customer service. Because of your unprofessional behavior, I have no truck to move on the day that I requested off!

I reserved online to pick up a truck at 8am Sunday morning. I printed the confirmation, I received another email confirmation, I got a telephone call to confirm (from the corporate office), but when I went to this location there were no trucks. They had no clue about my online reservation. I was told to call Budget. Of course, it’s 8am Sunday morning and after punching a myriad of numbers in their voice message system there was no one to talk to that early. And of course, I couldn’t find any other truck rental place open that early with a truck. It really messed up my day. ***update to this story. Budget Corporate charged my credit card $75 for not picking up the truck. Now that is funny. I am disputing the charges.

There was a Budget Truck that just flew past my place in Marshville on a private gravel road. I’ve never seen a vehicle go half that fast out here. I have grandchildren that play here. That doesn’t need to happen again!!!

Reserved online. States opens 7am. Arrive 7am and wait until 730. No other contact information on store front. Budget corporate said no beeper or other number to contact owner. Canceled reservation.

Had problems with bank card being used out of state fraud department shut it down. Guy at register helped me get everything squared away and set me up with a clean newer truck. Truck had aux input on radio so I could use my cellphone as player and handsfree. Had absolutely no problems with truck with the exception of getting only 8 mpg ( I guess on a 16' fully loaded truck it isn't that bad). But still cost me $650 one way from N.C to AZ. And I wish that the truck had cruise control cause with neoropathy my feet were killing me by the end of each day. Truck was perfect. Tires, brakes were excellent condition. Engine always started right up the only problem I had was when trying to pass at 65 mph truck would not downshift into passing gear and would take a minute or two to pass someone ( with gas pedal floored) so I learned not to try pass anyone at all or wait till I had absolutely no one in the passing lane for a couple miles behind me. But I've rented trucks from all the big companies and by far have had the best experience from the online reservation to the pick up location personnel helpfulness and attitude. Still have to return truck I will post experience when I return from dealer.

I rented a truck from this location and was charged twice for the same rental. I was told the truck was returned empty and also charged for that. The owner refused to discuss further with me when I called to inquire about this and hung up on me. I will never use this facility or budget to move again.
