“Walking in to Foster Drugs reminds me of the theme songs from Cheers: "Sometimes you wanna goWhere everybody knows your nameAnd they're always glad you came."The big box stores have 1 or 2 pharmacists doing everything from answering phones, to running the register, to stocking the shelves and cleaning the store. At Foster Drug they often have more employees working than customers in the store. The service is lightning fast, friendly, helpful and accommodating!I've moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC and still stop at Foster Drugs when I'm in town because it's the faster, friendlier pharmacy where they really do try to get to know everyone.I visited the store last week for the first time in a year and all the folks behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically by my first name and asked how I'm enjoying the beach!Forget the big box stores where you wait forever and nobody seems to care.Tired of being just a number and just the next person in line? “I have been using WM pharmacy for as long as I can remember and sure you have to wait sometimes but that’s to be expected at any pharmacy. I love all the lady’s at the pharmacy there awesome. Mrs Tammy and Mrs Julie have went above and beyond to help me with my medicine, I have one prescription that is over $700 a month and thanks to Mrs Julie who was on the phone with insurance co I now pay $00 for it. So try to be a little more understanding with them when you have to wait a little long there only human”

“Not sure how to actually review Walgreens. Obviously one of the two major pharmacy chains that are everywhere. Though I am an advocate for buying local, it is very difficult to avoid national chains like Walgreens and CVS. They are convenient and carry about any household, health and beauty item you would need. Got a rash in your nether regions? Walgreens has a cream for it. Mouth herpes outbreak? I'm sure they got something for your lip raisin. If not over the counter, then I'm sure they can hook you up with a prescription. Prices are decent. They take Apple Pay, which I find very convenient. This specific Walgreens is an easy in and easy out. If you don't want to fight the Wal-Mart crowds then this is a great alternative.”
