Gas station and convenient store right in downtown Mocksville. It is the only gas station in the historic downtown, I'm not counting the other two old stations that are more garages than gas stations. You can pay at the pump. That gets you a star in my book. Inside is not Sheetz but it has most of what you are looking for.

A few weeks ago, on the way home from Durham to Lenoir,I lost my credit card. After much thought I recalled using it at this station. When I called about it I was informed that they had found the card by the coffee machine where I had poured myself a good cup of coffee. They were so nice about mailing it to me after I could assure them of my identity. That saved me two hours of driving and I really appreciate it and will always stop by on future trips that way.
