Very difficult to get service by phone or online. The branch is understaffed. It takes days to get a call back, then they forget or ignore the customer's instructions. It can take literal weeks to accomplish something that should take a few minutes.

Worst experience ever. When we moved here 3 years ago they couldn't verify our info and said we only qualified for the poor people plan that charges you $10 a month, even though we had credit scores over 750. Pretty sad they go the extra mile to beat down people even more. They said there was nothing they could do, that's what there computer told them. We ended up not transferring all our money and just using our previous bank, but using them for cash withdraws. The tellers can't even follow simple instructions. I asked for all 20s and they gave me 2 $100 bills and the rest 20s. They fail to acknowledge customers when they walk in the door and have private nonsense conversation among themselves when you are standing there waiting. When we stopped using cash withdraws during Covid they wanted to charge us even more money a month for keeping our money there. We closed the account.

We have been using this bank for our business since 2019. I don't think I have ever had a positive experience with them. No one is friendly at this location. They seemingly always are annoyed that they have to offer assistance to their customers. Today we pulled up to the drive thru and waited about 10-15 minutes before anyone walked over. When she finally did, she didn't apologize for our wait or even acknowledge it. This isn't specific to this location, but about half of my transactions through my debit card get blocked and I have to call and verify that it was not fraud. They are completely normal transactions, and it's the same stores each time. I have no idea why this keeps happening. I've had to call the 800 number so many times over so many issues. I don't recommend this location or any others, based on my experience with this company as a whole.

Very poor service. Every one is lazy. Act like don't care. No one will go extra mile. No follow through on any thing. Need to clean house. Change every one. Poor service. I'm planning to change bank to new bank.

Bank management is lazy and does not go the extra mile. Almost audible sighs can be heard if they have to do anything they feel to should not have to do. They also allow a certain hispanic lady teller to maintain a rude and grumpy attitude towards customers!

I left my debt card there by accident on February 3rd. I didn't realize that until almost the last of February. They never once sent me a letter after not being able to reach me by phone. When I picked it up I was told it was still activated but evidently the fraud department had canceled it. I went back to the bank cause they said that it would take 3 minutes to make a new card. I know they can't control how fast the computer runs. But she put in the information to make it and went to go get the new one and someone had cut the machine off. So she turned it on and had to put the information in again. It printed out 2 cards instead of one and neither one worked. I was already late and didn't have time to wait any longer. So now I have to find another ride back to the bank tomorrow and tie up someone else's time once again and pay for them to take me. And no money or card to use until they make it new card. Who works for who and who is concerned about their customers. Just my opinion but I would have notified the person by mail last month. If it wasn't such a hassle to change banks with Social Security this would be the last encounter I had. Not a happy customer. I understand that there are some things outside of ourselves that can cause issues but not receiving a letter in a month about them having my card is human error and lack of customer service.

My experience at the mocksville and advance branch has always been great when I actually go to the bank itself. No problems at all. Always friendly and very helpful, I’m always in and out in a reasonable amount of time. They are very genuine and caring, with that being said ever since the name changed from bank of the ozarks to bank ozk, and they rebranded or bought more locations. Whatever it may be, their online banking has been the absolute worst. Whenever I make a purchase it never shows up on my mobile banking until a couple of days later and then it will show “pending” all of my bank activity is always out of order. Seems like their always down for maintenance or they can’t validate my information and can’t log in despite my log info being the same since I implemented my online banking. I’m tired of never being able to access my account online. I understand routine maintenance but when it was down just last week, and now you can’t “validate my information” it’s pretty ridiculous. My local branch customers service is awesome but the general customer service line that isn’t local is horrendous.

So my company gets a plain white envelope in the mail addressed to us from "Bank Ozk". It's not even a security type envelope - nope, just a cheap-o, plain white catalog sized envelope that you can see through. As soon as I pick up the envelope, I can feel the book of checks in the bottom of this flimsy envelope!?! REALLY? This is how your bank operates in 2018 with all the security issues, postal issues, mail theft, etc. happening daily?? You opt to send a customer their *checks* in something with handwritten addresses on it that actually states it's from a bank?? What kind of bank thinks THIS is acceptable in 2018? Who is making the decisions?? I'm sharing this for anyone that may be thinking of using this bank - this is how they operate. If you're ok with that, then by all means, sign on the dotted line.

Great, friendly bank with a small-town feel. The staff works hard to accommodate individual needs.
