DO NOT send your child here and DO NOT bother joining the waitlist. My child was on the waitlist for 6+ months. When they called to tell me they had an opening for her, I verified they would be able to accommodate her food allergies. I was told they could and they would substitute other foods for her. The day I showed up for her first day, the director and the teacher had no idea my daughter was starting that day and never filed the paperwork I turned in 2 weeks prior. I was then told that her allergy may not be accommodated and they would have to check with corporate. I chose to wait until they heard back from corporate regarding her allergy to start her as I wanted her allergy to be handled correctly. They called me two weeks later saying I would need to provide all my child’s food and they would not provide anything for her. I showed up the next day, for her first day (again) with all her food packed, and the infant room was full. They didn’t even have room for her even though I was told she could start that day! The communication between staff members is non existent. The communication to parents is even worse. Sunshine House is very unorganized and I would never trust sending my child here. I have now been without daycare for my child for over a month while I have had to wait until another spot opens up at a different daycare

To start with ,I wish I could give 0 stars to this center. They are highly highly unprofessional i have ever dealt with in my entire life .we enrolled our son by giving them enrollment fee they said your son will be picked up in 3 months but whatsoever those 3 months never came ( been year now ) they never communicated with us what’s going on ,, I have called them several times and in-fact went there in person to check my sons status and the new principal seems to be lost about what’s going on . I requested her please atleast communicate with us rather than we chase you guys and guess what again zero communication.they never returned our fee and most importantly till today no update about anything .Guys, be aware they are just very rude and unprofessional and lost people and it’s a matter of your child so think millions times about these folks !

My toddler has been enrolled here for upwards of 6 months now, and I cannot express enough how much comfort and confidence I have in this school and their teachers.Coming from another daycare, I see how much more inviting and accommodating the staff is at Sunshine House. My son adjusted to this school quickly, whereas he never adjusted to his former daycare. He learns new words, sign language, and eats a greater variety of foods since being at SH, his former and current teachers are clearly loving and know my son’s personality, likes/dislikes.The classrooms are clean, we get regular updates and photos/videos of our child, and updates whenever accidents happen. I would happily leave my son enrolled here from Toddler-Pre-K and beyond. Fully recommend this school and thankful for the wonderful staff and the care they provide.

My daughter was mistreated when she attended. I feared for my daughter safety because she came home with scratches and bruises repeatedly and teachers would lie and tell me it was self inflicted or done by another child. One of the teachers hit my daughter. I asked to view the camera footage and was prevented because it was being covered up. I filed a report. My daughter is so loving and sweet and I hate she suffered abuse while attending daycare because her mother had to work. My daughter was not able to talk but I knew something was wrong and taking her out was the best decision. Do not enroll your kids.

We absolutely love this place!! I would recommend to any family that’s looking for a clean, safe, comfortable, organized & affordable learning environment for their children. My daughters learned so much & so many new things in a short amount of time! The staff is always so polite & helpful & each & every teacher knows all the kids & gets along great with the kids. The school constantly keeps you up to date with everything that’s going on via email. There’s an app that keeps you up to date of activities, curriculum, meals daily; even pictures of the kids occasionally doing activities in the classroom. They offer an excellent meal plan thats very appreciative & healthy. We Been attending for almost a year now and we’ve had no problem in a negative sense with any other child or parent or staff; nor have I seen or heard anything of the sort from any other family that’s attends!! The Sunshine House is an awesome & amazing place for anyone’s family we just love it here. The thing I like about it the most is the peace of mind knowing that our child is in good safe hands & she always comes home happy with nothing but good reports of how her day went EVERYDAY! This is the ideal childcare center.

This is a great daycare for kids and I highly recommend it. They’re located in a safe neighborhood. The staff there is very friendly They are pricey but it’s worth it bc diapers, wipes, and food is included in the pricing so if they were cheaper, you would end paying the same thing anyway bc parents would need to provide that stuff. They’re also very “with the times” meaning they serve healthy food for the kids, they’re systems are tech based, and you gets updates on your child from an app all day long. Our son is a year old and he loves it there! There are some things that they need to improve however. 1 thing would be changing their archaic documentation system. You have to physically still sign and fill out forms. In 2020 you would think most if not all paperwork and updates to it could be done online somehow. Another thing is that they tend to lose your paperwork a lot as well bc they don’t do a good job of storing it since it’s all paper copies. We had to fill out our initial paperwork 3 times since they kept losing certain documents with no idea how. Hopefully they can improve on the above to make things more efficient for not only parents but themselves as well. We recommended this daycare to a friend of ours but due to Sunshine Housing losing their paperwork twice, they decided not to send their newborn there. This is a big issue that greatly needs improvement. It also seems that their systems are also down often. Some mornings you can’t sign in and the iPads that send the updates are down a lot as well. I think that’s more of an IT issue rather the actual daycare though. They also have an archaic automatic payment system as well. We are set for an automatic bank draft so we don’t forget to pay them every week. They are supposed to run payments every Monday and that is often NOT the case. Sometimes it takes days or even a week or so for our auto draft to come out if it’s a holiday. This can be frustrating bc it screws with our weekly budget. For some reason 1 person has access to run the auto payments and she does not always run them on Monday as expected. Again in 2020, why is this process not set up by a system to be run automatically whether that employee works or not?!?At the end of the day, no place or person is perfect and sunshine house is no different. It can be frustrating dealing with Sunshine House but they’re worth it. You have to accept the fact that no matter what daycare you send your child to, there will be issues and room for improvement. They have their room for improvement but I honestly cannot picture our son with another daycare. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed and neither will your children!

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was two months old. She is now six months old and even though she has been in there for a short period of time my child has been well taken care of and loved since the minute we walked in on the first day. The teachers and directors are so very sweet and kind. It's hard leaving your precious children especially for long hours of the day but we feel great knowing our daughter is in good hands. They love on our daughter and take care of her just like my husband and I do. They genuinely take care and love all the kids at daycare. We are so happy that we are apart of the Sunshine family. We appreciate them taking care of our daughter and loving and caring for her just as much as we do. I highly recommend this daycare without a doubt. You won't be disappointed at all. ?

We've had our 3 year old attending here for a few months now, and so far it's been a great experience. This building is well kept, clean, and welcoming. My son loves his teachers, and always has a fun time; usually doesn't want to leave when I come to pick him up! He especially loves the 2 outdoor playground sessions they get each day (weather permitting). I feel comfortable that I'm leaving him in a safe and loving environment.

I've had my daughter here since she was 3 months old. All of her teachers have been so wonderful. I can tell they really do care for each child there. I've never once felt like my daughter was unsafe. It's pricey but I feel like it's comparable to others. They provide all diapers, wipes, formula & foods so I feel like we've saved a bunch of money (& less to carry each day!) with that. They could do a little better making sure the app is up to date & I'd love to get way more photos than what they send, but they love my girl & that's all that matters!

We started at Sunshine house in 2016 when my oldest was almost one year old. We then kept them home while we worked from home for 7 months due to Covid. I was super nervous about returning to Sunshine House during Covid when I had to return to work. Both of my boys (ages 5 and 2) have thrived and truly love going to school and seeing their teachers. 2020 is a crazy crazy year and I’m so thankful I know my boys are in good hands. I appreciate all that the staff is doing to keep everyone safe because I know that is an undertaking. The lady who goes and gets the kids at pick up is so speedy and never frustrated when it gets busy. I would definitely recommend Sunshine House to anyone looking for a safe place for their children.

I love this school and my kids love it as well. We transferred from a daycare that my kids were at since birth so i was nervous about the switch but my kids have been here a year now and it was the best decision. The teachers care and take time to greet you and get to know your kids. Very nurturing and friendly.

I’m indifferent about this daycare. It’s secured and the front desk staff is very helpful when they’re up front. The teachers in the first infant room in the afternoon are amazing and I wish my son could stay with them! I feel there isn’t enough communication when a child moves up. You get a paper but it doesn’t tell you the changes that will occur. Example: my son was a fully breastfed baby but when he moved from the infants 2 to infants 3 they just give them milk. This wasn’t explained to me so I would come and the milk wasn’t used or they threw it away! I spoke with them about it and it was explained why they did it that way. I understood the reason but think communication should be better if I’m taking the time to pump to make bottles and label them. Another thing is the change in staff. When someone leaves I find out the week of. It’s mentioned causally I’m grnersl conversation. There’s no notice or anything. My son is only one and I’m sure there’s been st least 5 or 6 changes in his teachers. I feel like that should be an email or letter for that classroom sent out letting people know the changes no matter how frequent they occur. My older school age girls attended the before school program for a short time but I received emails from their school about them being tardy so I took them out and drive them myself. Again, no email was sent out letting parents know the reason and I had to ask myself. If communication was better I would give it more stars.

I love this facility. I am veryyyyyyy picky of who takes care of my kids however after meeting Mrs Brittany I knew it would be a good please to have my kids in after school. Ms Danielle is beyond amazing. She’s a rockstar in my eyes. She treats all the kids like they are her own. If I ever have a problem which I haven’t I feel very comfortable that Brittany would address it right away. Looks like she runs a tight daycare. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

Department of health and human services will be joining my wife and I tomorrow to get our sons things. Our son has come home with bite marks numerous times without seeing a report from a teacher. We recieved no phone calls in reguards to out son coming home with a bite mark on his face and a laceration above his eye. This is the last straw. Him being sick for weeks in a row because of going outside without a coat. We caught a teacher in the 2-3 year old class on her phone all day and we reported it. They fired he in the parking lot days later, after a cussing match from management and the teacher in front of families there was no apology. Then they hired her back 2 weeks later. Get your kids and run!!!! 6 months of this daycare is enough!!!!numerous cars being broke into in the parking lot with no cameras to top it off!! Spend the extra $ and keep your kids safe. Its not the teachers its the management!
