Max and his team helped my family with a transmission years ago. I sent two of my employees to him, they were happy and continue to use him repeatedly. My turn came for a repair. He got me in super quick, turn around was also quick. Long story short, my car needed more than we thought. He got me in again almost immediately. Car was ready the next day. He was patient & worked with me on everything, even down to the cost. As a single mother, I cant afford to be taken advantage of and Mint Hill Auto definitely earned my business and my trust. If you are looking for good, local, honest and affordable mechanics, I highly recommend Max and his team.

I had multiple issues addressed on my F150. I was very pleased as a first time customer. I've been searching for a convenient mechanic ever since my regular one closed. I will be using this shop again. Everyone was friendly and easy to deal with.

I do not recommend this establishment. I asked for my car to be reviewed as I was experiencing 'a bumpy ride' when driving and an apparent engine resistance when traveling high speeds on the highway. The team resolved that an alignment was needed. However, what I experienced was not an alignment issue. I discovered that the bearings, calipers, and shocks needed to be replaced.
The evidence: my fairly new tires were appreciably worn out. Because of this, I was denied a pass for my annual registration renewal. I also had to pay an exorbitant amount of money for the repair and new tires to pass my NC registration inspection. Had the defects been detected, it could have corrected at the time I requested a diagnostic. Also, the cost that I incurred could have been ameliorated had it been diagnosed properly. At this point, my vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive by the inspection agent.
I immediately called Mint Hill Automotive and explained the situation. The result: Mint Hill Auto agreed to return the fee I paid for the alignment. However, when I approached them months later to inquire about the refund, they denied recollection of our conversation and their consent to refund me the alignment fee. Furthermore, they denied receipt of my email that included pics of the worn tires, which they requested. Most insulting, they denied knowing me. The owner stated that he doesn't return money to just anyone who walks off the street." When I returned home, I resent the email they asserted was never received. However, they never acknowledged receipt of my forwarded email. The tone and rudeness I experienced was astonishing.
When Ken Manchester owned the facility, I felt confident that they always exercised fairness, were proficient and efficient in diagnostics, and resolved problematic mechanical issues thoroughly. Furthermore, they exhibited superior customer service. This current management does not commit to these same principles. I wondered if the mistreatment I experienced was because of my race as I have observed how they treat others like themselves differently. I will not return to this auto shop. I suggest you do the same.

Arrogant attention, not very empathetic, the owner and an older lady who "attended me" waited 40 minutes for them to tell me that they were already busy, to make an appointment. Definitely my first and last time in that place.

Honest work at a fair price. They have worked on two of my vehicles and I never felt any negative feelings on their evaluation. On more than one occasion they have suggested against doing additional work I requested saving me hundreds because it they felt it was unnecessary. I have done business with them 6 times and each repair was completed when promised and repaired properly.

I just moved back to mint hill and needed to find a mechanic . They were kind professional and the prices were professional. They even helped my daughter’s car when she didn’t have an appt. I will definitely be coming back for service of my car
