I have natural hair and requested a cut. Her communication is excellent. I got exactly what I wanted, no muss no fuss.

I live at Urban Hive in the Historic West End and love my Verde Homes property. There have been some slight bumps in the road as with any homeowner journey but Verde has been responsive and helpful in resolving any and all issues. Shawn is the project manager on site and has been amazing...if you buy here you get his full support and an amazing warranty for any issues. Priscilla is also helpful and responsive and prefers to text which is always great. I'm also really enjoying this part of town as it's extremly accessible to Uptown and major highways for connection to other parts of town. I feel very safe in this community and believe I made the right investment ***only caveat to living here is you have to work with Verde's chosen brokers. I did not enjoy working with their broker and nor did my agent. But we got through it!***

unfortunately I walked into this salon with excitement because I moved to this area and didn't have a hair stylist, so I thought I may have found a stylist, close to my home that I could support. Upon entering the salon the owner was reading a magazine, so I approached her to discuss services and share my excitement, well let's just say I got very little information, no eye contact as she continued to read the magazine and I just got handed a business card, still no eye contact, the magazine must have been more interesting than my excitement in possibly finding a salon close by. unfortunately I wanted to support this business as I saw clients and staff with my same hair texture as mine, but I guess I set my expectations too high

Yvonne is absolutely AMAZING! My youngest daughter loves going to get her hair done and always feels ecstatic with how she looks when she leaves. Yvonne also checks to make sure she's ok while combing through hair since she knows some kids can be tender headed. My oldest daughter also goes to Yvonne for her cut and color and refuses to go anywhere else! Anyone with curly hair knows you have to be careful with who does your hair and Yvonne is wonderful,Very professional and highly recommended!
