Great spot to check out and purchase art. Shirley welcomed me and my two daughters in, and we had a great time making art together! It’s a must see if you’re in Milton.

Milton Studio Art Gallery is such a treasure in Milton. A place for visitors and tourists to enjoy and of which locals can be proud.

A lovely art store on commercial row in historic Milton. The Art Gallery Carrie’s a great selection of artists and styles that capture both the local scene as well as other vistas, still life’s, and views.

I just got back from there. It is a fine shop and the owner is very nice. There are some amazing paintings, pottery and carvings.

Whenever we are in town for VIR, a stop at this gallery is mandatory. Unlike many others, this gallery reps a wide array of media and artists. Here, one can find charming hand-painted, up-cycled wooden vessels; well-wrought laser-cut metal wall-sculptures that convey dimensionality even though they are just 2-D (still want that 1964 Mustang that looks like it is going to drive off of the wall); and skillfully painted oils and water colors. The common denominators are two: All of the work is local and the owner, Shirley, personally selects the artists. Shirley is a former art teacher and an artist in her own right. Indeed, some of her work hangs in the gallery. Shirley drips with southern charm and hospitality as she cheerfully discusses a piece or artist. No hushed tones or pretentiousness here. Although the gallery's posted hours are limited, Shirley welcomes guests by appointment. All you have to do is ring her up.
